If you look at the fences in the background, they are completely gone in the 2nd photo. So if it's not under then it would be pretty damn close. And that would've been before that family had left, so it would've gotten alot higher than that.

I have the most sincere doubts that you are going to see a Crocodile in a Brisbane park. If that photo was true, there would be media broadcasting it, or at least a video of some variety.
This is crazy, and it's only going to get worse.

Can someone tell me what will happen with insurance in all this, surely they would all pay out? even without flood damage?
saw that photo and thought bullshit straight away, some of the news services are sensationalising this tragedy under the guise of "we don't really have confirmed reports but who knows"
yesterday, channel 9 reported that some schools (NOT childcare) had been blocked off with teachers looking after kids who haven't seen their parents in 10 hours, "must be terrifying for the parents not knowing if their kids are ok"
something didn't smell right and it took me about 5 minutes to realise that we are now in the middle of school holidays?
ffs, this flood is tragic enough without some of these turds making up complete and utter rubbish
Flood plains, fair enough, just like I dont care about people in bushfires (well I care, but you know the risks living in a forest.)
