Don't think any changes are required or will be made. It's more how we use the players that are in to get the job done.

I reckon Rich has to be tagged and I'd be inclined to give Sparrow first crack. He seems to be an excellent one on one mark for his size and that's an area where Rich can be exploited. Also a really good tackler. ANB probably the other option but not sure he's overly suited to a defensive forward job.

Happy for us to go head to head with Brisbane midfield as plan A but we should be quick to swing Harmes onto either Zorko or Neale if they're getting off the chain.

Daniher match up is a worry. Wouldn't be shocked if Smith gets it to start with but Petty is probably plan A because Smith could be our best match up for Cameron (if he plays over Hibberd).
Wouldn't waste Lever or May on Daniher because if he gets on his bike and moves them out of position they can't play to their strengths, and I don't think they're any more likely to get the spoil in than Petty or Smith if he plays as a lead up forward.

Is it just my MFCSS talking or will a heap of Croweater neutrals turn up at the game on the Brisbane bandwagon because of their hatred of Victorians?

Lachie Neale is loved in SA, will tip some neutrals the Lions way.

Gonna have to bring Bernie out of retirement or hope Neal-Bullen ends covid in the next 5 days to even the ledger.

Maybe bring in Hibberd for Smith, for match up reasons. Only other possible one would be Jordon for Sparrow.
Hoping Tmac fires up for this one, still waiting for Clarry and Trac to both turn it on for the same game, lookout if that happens.:astonished:

Smith has been playing well. And he looks like he has some pace, that is very important for the group. Bringing Hibberd in loses that pace, so I don't think Smith will go.

Sparrow is a 50/50, he certainly had some lows but I think as Melbourne are taking on another contested ball team he will keep his place because of that.
- He seems physical enough to go onto Rich as well (someone must go to Rich).

I really don't see anyone else as a drop except for McDonald. And that would be injury related.

Not sure how Smith’s footy smarts will go vs a Cameron type of he gets that job.

Anyway if he stays in and that eventuates fingers crossed he proves me wrong!

Watching the replay Sparrow had some big moments. Big tackles and big marks. Would be tough to drop him.

**** his kicking into the mark tho, would have loved his game if he cleaned up his disposal

Yeah, young guy, did all the hard stuff but fluffed a few kicks. There's something about Sparrow, I think he will be a player but reckon will do so at an Adelaide club.

Bit of Josh Caddy about him

Hope we can keep him, but hard to see where we could promise him proper opportunity unless of injury to others. Maybe being a role in a top team will be enough for him for another year or two.

15k cap for both AO finals

Hold up - only 15,000? Could probably get 40,000 to the game over here. Surprised the AFL would turn their nose up at another $2m or so out of ticket proceeds.

Do we send Harmes to roll between Neale, Lyons or Zorko this week? Lyons is their most in form mid and would require a Libba style tag, Zorko the most damaging.

I'd tag Zorko. He's the one who can kick goals and lift the team.
