Just think CP, Friday night win, great weekend.
Will win and will win easily.
Very nicely timed! Oooops! Just noticed it was in June. Those figures are utterly stunning. But for us, a nicely timed piece nonetheless.
This umpiring situation needs more press this week.
*Sigh* - it's going to be a long week
"Bring it Friday night CP - going to get a lesson in football"
"No Nic-Nat last time"
"If we had kicked straight last time, we would of won. This time it's our turn"
*Sigh*
Even if he did it would only be as sub. Which is why it should be Simpkin. The only sub we've had that was better was Breust.Should someone need to replace Smith - is Jed remotely warranting selection on his form? I've only seen a couple of BHH games and he wasn't overly impressive compared to previous seasons. His stats on paper haven't been too amazing either. Happy to stand corrected by anyone who saw the game against Footscray to see how he went.
If it's wet then our tall forward line may not be as effective and could even be a liability with their smaller back line.
That said their own strength is their tall forwards so another thing that could cancel out.
Last game they got about 8 goals from us slipping over, this is why they scored almost every time they went in. If it isn't raining, then it is a bigger out for West Coast than Nic Nat is for them due to this. Unfortunately it might rain anywayWe killed them with inside 50's last time also, as far as I remember. It seemed to me 70 of the game was in our half. If it wasn't for the Eagles kicking a goal almost overtime they went inside 50, and had we actually converted out inside 50s a bit better, the game would have been a blow out.
The Coaster's are calling Billy a hack "dcutter"?!Reasonably confident for the following reasons:
- Langford a massive in for grunt work on a forecasted wet track
- WC has had an ongoing lack of continuity in their team recently
- WC on the back of 2 x 6 day breaks + 5 weeks of hard football (minus RD 23 game)
- Mcgovern clearly hampered by injury
- Schofield coming in for first game in a month, ditto possibly Selwood (much longer)
- Masten injury cancels out smith omission
- Hodge's road to redemption - can expect a fired up skipper to play out of his skin
- Almost a dream run injury wise - rested and ready to go
Possible tactics:
- Reckon we might go with a tall forward line. The Adelaide talls monstered the WC backline and exposed their lesser likes, reckon Clarko is thinking along the same lines not only w Hale and Big boy but also Frawley
- Hill to Gaff - stays with him the whole game - one of only a few who has the speed and endurance to go with him
- Billy to come in for outside run - will need to play a massive game but could be vital (if smith doesn't get up)
- Hale to predominately ruck against Nic Nat
Absolute respect for WC but I think we're cherry ripe for this and have been itching for finals all year
Let's hope next wek is long one too, say about 14 or 15 days. Can't stop thinking about this. Gonna be a long week.
Glad to see liquor out "Baz_hawk", he's more hinderance than help, and would definitely like to see Cegs in for BB.Rioli, Hodge and Breust are all back. Sicily, Howe and liquor will be the likely omissions. Would like to see Ceglar come in for McEvoy
Ye "cryptor" bring Simkin in as a good back-upEven if he did it would only be as sub. Which is why it should be Simpkin. The only sub we've had that was better was Breust.
Bit rich coming from a team who has "Sharrod Wellingham" on their list, a player whose notched up 134 games without a single hard ball get.The Coaster's are calling Billy a hack "dcutter"?!

Billy's all heart and runs all day. Oozes professionalism, oozes Hawthorn. Huge future. Can't wait to watch him run riot this Friday on their own dung hill.
Time to flex the muscles. We will go full bore. This team knows how to win when it counts. They have the experience, skill, toughness and belief and they haven't let me down. I mean cmon back to back champions going for their 3rd if you can't back them in now you will never back them in. We will win
