Note the collar on Buckley's jumper
I think you'll find that your jumper is a retail, not necessarily early or late. I'd assume that the jumper the bucks is wearing is a sekem item with Adidas logos.
I've got a 99 PI and a funny thing about it is that all the sponsors are sublimated into the jumper yet they have gone and stitched exactly the same sponsors/AFL logo over the top of the printed logos. Find this really bizarre.
Watching some show on Fox Footy and I heard a mention of a Black Caviar jumper, can someone give me any more information?

Adelaide and Adidas I'm pretty sure had 2 partnerships.
I think Geelong and Slazenger were in the same boat.
Brisbane and Puma also had a couple of partnerships.
Hawthorn and Puma likewise.

Picked this up from Vinnies today, couldn't go past an old Collingwood jumper with Daicos' number for $8
Earliest this could be from is 1990
Inspecting the 'torn off' patch marks, the left side looked to have the old AFL patch, but on the right, it looks like a octagon
Looks like one of those .05 patches the tigers once wore would fit there
But there's no rectangle marks in that area (Spicers logo)
Any reason behind this?
I'm guessing it belonged to a local footy club who took off the Afl and Spicers patch and put their own on
Or there was no sponsor to begin just the AFL patch
Also there's no back sponsor

Just realised there was an Official AFL tag in the collar....my bad.
Could it be the Grand Final logo?
EDIT - It might be that -05 logo you were talking about.
But there's no pictures of it whatsoever..

Looking at it front on, I'm certain it's AFL patch on the left and perhaps a mistake in what patch to sew on the right (perhaps the -05 patch, i don't know i'm throwing ideas in)
btw heres the -05 patch from 1989, Tigers changed theirs the following year
Grand final patch? They were rectangle but there was no cut off stripes on the side from the early 90s collingwood jumpers

75% certain it's a vsfl jumper. As tac/ 0.5 was sponsor of that league in the early 90's + the vsfl logo was the same shape as a afl logo of the time
