Effort was great but i dont care about effort for this group . please port don't think were close, we are massively off the top teams.
Great to see wines show to us and himself that he can still dominate a game.
Bring on trading senior players and a whole lot of sackings in the football department

Such a shame the crowd abuses a champion like Eddddiieee.

Where is that Swooping Crow Own gif via Alyx honestly it's the best Own on BurlyBurley

Toumpas is clearly a confidence player who clearly has no confidence.

If we're ever going to get a return out of him, Ken has to back him in week in week out like he backed in Pittard week in week out in 2013 and 2014. He's never going to make it as an in-and-out fringe player who doesn't have a chance to acclimatise to AFL football.

In 2017 he should either play from Round 1 or he shouldn't play at all. If we continue to give him 5-10 games here and there when we have injuries, we're just wasting our time.

You can almost see him thinking: "don't **** up, don't **** up, don't **** up, don't **** up...oh shit, I ****ed up!" Every time he gets the ball in his hands!

Won't make us a good team but could be a handy player in a good team imo.

Remember 2011 when all of our players were confidence players devoid of confidence

It's current year. If a player doesn't have internal confidence aka a proper winning mentality they can go do one. Unless it's Butcher.

I didn't necessarily say I was against the 'he doesn't play at all' option. I'm just against the 'he comes in occasionally for 5-10 games when we have injuries' option. Bringing a bloke like Toumpas in for a pressure cooker Showdown after he's played one game of AFL in the last 3-4 months was always going to end in tears.

Play him for 20+ games or don't play him at all.

Had moments where we played some of our best footy all year. Apart from the diabolical 2nd Qt, the effort was there.

Skills were shithouse, Toumpas was worse.

How Westhoff has got to 200 games is beyond me.

O'Shea is a terrible footballer.

Lobbe held his own.

Wines was in full beast mode, unstoppable at times.

It's tough seeing Schulz out there, as he's well & truly cooked.

We are going to finish 10th.

St. Kilda have overtaken us.
Melbourne on par.
Collingwood on par.
One game up on Richmond.

We are in ****ing no-mans land.

Not as bad as a crowd abusing a bloke who nearly lost on eye. Or booing a showdown medalist when he was announced. Take the higher than thou attitude and shove it.

We were lucky not to get thrashed, only positive is that we didn't straight up throw in the towel like we have many times this year.

This team has no idea what they are doing, I almost think the players perform better when they ignore the team instructions, which will neva eva work.

I'm not sure if we should keep Krakouer on the list next year, but I guess it depends how half back flankers we trade out - I'm hoping 2 or 3 at least.

We need to be really aggressive with trading players out this off season, I honest don't think there are more than 4 players who we couldn't potentially improve our list by trading.

I'm also completely cold on Hinkley now, it's super clear the problems with the team come from a shit game plan, as well as horrible skills training.

When you need to work harder than the opposition to win you are stuffed. Though I have no idea what went wrong after we played Sydney in the preseason, as we looked alright in that game...
The senior players didn't play in that Swans preseason match

Toumpas' lack of speed and telegraphed manoeuvres across halfback assassinated my feels.

If you were Colquhoun you'd be pretty annoyed rn.
I reckon if you Sliding Doors those two it'd be the same result.

Actually this is a valid point.

Butcher should feel aggrieved that we have double standards so far as iron gloves Charlie is concerned, and Colquhoun must be wondering how Toumpas is ahead of him.

He is a proffessional athlete who should be able to do the basics right low confidence or not. He struggles to even hand pass without pressure and not stick tackles or just stand there watching. Really dissapointed in him, we should have listened to the melbourne supporters.
