Until the rankine hit we were doing ok. After that we completely lost our mindsI said before the Showdown that our performance would either validate our recent form or make it look fraudulent.
Personally I always felt that our game against the Dogs and Cats, was a result of them taking the game easy and not a reflection of how well we were going.
Neck injury from high contact and he missed a bunch of weeks if I recall. I thought about including that one but it wasn't actually a concussionDidn’t Murphy get concussed in the goal after the siren win?
the thing lost on these guys is they're not proper port people. he's from st bede's catholic school in victoria. the joke isn't about you mate
I'm finding it hard to believe that any supporters - even Port supporters - would boo an injured player like that. My theory, albeit I wasn't there - is it was Crows supporters booing the hit / Houston?A small minority booing him off was poor.
The majority myself included clapped him off.

Curtin and Taylor and Pick 4?Need to explore Dowling as a Mid. Him and Edwards are our last hopes right now.
Well Ken's already implemented the good bloke defence so it might be only three....compare that to McAdam's no injury, but potential to cause injury adjudication. FMD this has to be minimum of 4.Footy show saying that houston didn't get him in the head and will only be 3 weeks so he can play in the grand final. And there is an argument he gets off. Kane the main one that thinks it will be more
The image of Houston's shoulder well above Rankines head when only 10cm aoart alone says he got him in the head. There is no angle that supports a view that he didn't get him in the head.Footy show saying that houston didn't get him in the head and will only be 3 weeks so he can play in the grand final. Doesn’t matter, he’s concussed as a result of his decision to shirt front himFooty show saying that houston didn't get him in the head and will only be 3 weeks so he can play in the grand final. And there is an argument he gets off. Kane the main one that thinks it will be more
It has to be either the same as Rankin got 4 weeks for or more otherwise the tribunal is corrupt.Footy show saying that houston didn't get him in the head and will only be 3 weeks so he can play in the grand final. And there is an argument he gets off. Kane the main one that thinks it will be more
nah, he just faked a hit to the head to ensure he didnt have to take the last shot for goal. one of his best moves in the last 3 yearsDidn’t Murphy get concussed in the goal after the siren win?
Yep, I’d believe it. There is something in their brains that flicks when it comes to football. Just beyond any other die hard supporter base. When i was about 8 an old lady hit me with her umbrella at Alberton because i called rohan Smith a baldy. I learned a few new words from dad shortly after that

My take is that he will get 4 weeks. It's on par with other suspensions so it's easy for the AFL to avoid controversy leading into finals.

Ahem.. Murphy..Which sides haven’t got a small slippery forward?
Oh yeah us!
You clearly don’t know many port fans. Many are the dregs of society.I'm finding it hard to believe that any supporters - even Port supporters - would boo an injured player like that. My theory, albeit I wasn't there - is it was Crows supporters booing the hit / Houston?
They had to start covering our players race at Footy Park for Showdowns due to the shit being thrown at/poured over/whatever, our players. You clearly don’t know many port fans. Many are the dregs of society.
I cant possibly see how its not worse than Rankines 4 weeks. Rankine and the Lions player went at each other front on - eyes wide open - and Izak was silly enough to hit the head region with nowhere near the ferocity and unlucky it was a concussion. It has to be either the same as Rankin got 4 weeks for or more otherwise the tribunal is corrupt.

He didn't miss any weeks from that. But it was his first game back from a neck injury which ended up plagueing him most of that season.Neck injury from high contact and he missed a bunch of weeks if I recall. I thought about including that one but it wasn't actually a concussion
So what’s he saying?
You finally beat me?
The plans worked I’ve ****ed this club up?
That was a dog act?
Got a job for me?
He was extremely soft on it in the press conference thoughClearly would be along the lines of the targeting of Rankine culminating in the dog act
Are there any teeth in their emojis?Incredible that campaigner Port supporters are responding with 'laughing' emojis to vision of Houston's snipe. They don't even try to hide the fact that they're campaigners.
