Equal second on 7 along with Billings. Bruce has 23. It shows how ridiculously dependent on Bruce we are. We stop relying on Rooey then rely on Bruce.

Alternatively, look at this way. Billings, Hicky, Roo, Sinclair and Lonie are all averaging a goal per game. Armo, Dunstan and Steven kicking in 0.75 as mids.

That's a reasonable spread of kickers to go with a (projected) 70 goal fwd in Bruce.

To be fair if Roo and Bruce ever consistently play with each other, but yeah considering how many small forwards and flankers we play we don't get a heap of goals from them.

Mostly still very young though. When Billings starts putting on 4 goal match winning performances a couple of times a month instead of a couple of times a season we'll be righ!

Kick it to Broo! Kick it to Broo!

Would be a different story if Roo had played every game though. And hopefully will be once McCartin comes along. I have a lot of faith in Membrey but he will be more of a Hamill type I imagine.

Over his 190 games, Hamill averaged 1.3 goals, and 2.0 scoring shots generally. He also averaged just under 3 tackles a game. I dpn't expect Membrey to ever be kicking massive bags of 5 or more, but if he chugs along at about 1-2 goals a game and applies plenty of forward pressure, I call that a win.

Yeah when you go to games Membery is very impressive in his work off the ball but looks spent by the time he get a shot on goal. He looks like someone who isn't natural aerobically fit but is able to push through the pain barrier but is out on his feet at times. He is actually adding to the team but not hurting teams on the scoreboard yet. He's still young and if he can get to the point where he can play a Chapman or Ryan o'Keefe type role for us it would be ideal. He might actually need to slim down a bit for that though. If you are going to play undersized KPF you need some Darling or Stringer traits (which he might develop).

Hope Tom Simpkin plays.

I've said it before, I want him to make it.

I just love the guys to whom footy doesn't come easy, and they work and work to make it.

This is Tom.

Will always give 100%

Good luck Head.

I'd like him to move into the mid field. Have to get seriously fit over summer and then let him loose.

What's all this hype on Yeo about? He's played one really good game, and all of his goals were due to horrendous defending/play from the Suns (90+ win as well, there's always going to be an unlikely "bag-kicker" coming up in a thrashing like that). He's a good player, but I would worry more about Shuey, Hurn, Masten and Gaff over Yeo.

He's a very good player, just that he had a monster game last week.

Apparently Yeo is the next Fyfe because he destroyed Brisbane and Gold Coast, he's an absolute A-Grader against crap opposition kinda like the whole West Coast team

Yeo will be a gun and is currently a B grader who could soon become and A grader. Athletic, good skills, good runner and strong overhead. He was a massive loss for Brisbane

Don't think they would be complaining at the moment looking at their midfield, he will be a good player though

Exactly, that little maggot Cripps will probably kick 6 this week. All of them rubbish floaters from 20-30m in space on the rebound, followed by an OTT celebration. Vomit.

Feeling confident about tomorrow. I have to work which means I'll miss the game. The only games I've missed this year are Gold Coast & Bulldogs.
Well "joop", if we only win when you miss the game ...... Then I suggest you miss the rest of the season :) Honestly, it's time to do the team thing & just watch the replays the night after. :D Saints Premiers 2015:p

I love being actually excited for Saints games, nice to see everything coming together :D

Article on saints.com.au says that Roberton, Dempster and Fisher will share Kennedy duties. Interesting that they named him on the wing but apparently he's going to rotate back at some point. It will be interesting to see how Roberton handles it, he's in good form and is pretty voracious although undersized.

Just means we have to win the midfield game. It's possible on Etihad that if we bring our pressure we can at least get in front for a while and maybe hope they don't mount too massive of a comeback. If we turn up like we did against Collingwood we'll lose by a healthy margin.

We've really rolled the dice on this one. It's either likely to be an ingenious move that wins us the game or near enough to it, or it could backfire badly and remind us of the 2012/2013 bad old days where we were undersized in defence every week and anyone tall who played forward against us would go to town.

I remember last year they went really tall up forward against us and really exploited that height advantage and you can bet they'll look to do so again tomoz.

Difference being last year they had the Governor playing up fwd, they'll miss him this year, as he'll have duties on Bruce or Hickey. I think it's simple, we win in midfield, we win the game.
