Knowing the song makes SparkleNarkle sound like an elderly man trying to be hip with his kids.

Yeah nah now I feel real cool. If this were ten years ago, I'd download the song to my Motorola RAZR and show the kids at school. Boy would I be popular. Too bad it's 2018 and no-one at school likes the songs I have on my phone

I don't really know, there were just bits and pieces of SparkleNarkle's description that sort of made sense, having said that though, the lyrics he described were way off!

Listen to it, none of that song actually sounds like 'My People' until you really think about it

"I live who hubby har wah ha daaaa daaaa daaa"
Hahahaha this is great, My People is an absolute banger of a tune. It's off the album Apocalypso, which is also very good album in it's own right.

I thought you were like 15

A 17 year old making a meme of the Motorola Razor doesn't feel right

I read enough Buzzfeed Australia to know about teens in the 2000's. Although to make everyone feel real old, I never watched and had never heard of Cheez TV until a couple of years ago.

I do remember pencils in the classroom being in yogurt tubs, and having a bath in about an inch of water, then watching Mum scoop up the water to pour on the garden during the drought. And because I'm bored, here's some videos that epitomise my growing up in the mid-2000's:

2000's kids represent!

I actually remember the episode of Sesame Street that aired on my first day of Primary School - it was when Baby Bear made an automatic lemonade pouring machine. That was a good one. So was the one were Alan and Gordon were playing checkers, and then Elmo, Abbey and Telly came over as cheerleaders, and because they were trying to be quiet cheerleaders, they waved their pompoms around and knocked the pieces flying!

Why would you do that to yourself? :D

It's actually quite interesting. Who doesn't love selecting pizza flavours to decide where my next holiday will be? And with quality articles like this, well, you're all missing out!

For reals tho Thunderbirds was the best. Still remember watching the video tapes of it (both purchased + recordings of the TV) that are around the house somewhere & getting up to watch it at 6am every weekend on channel 9.

**** me thought I was the only one. Might be getting into a bit too much info but I used to have to share the bath with caloschwaby when we were real young but it's alright because we said no homo.

The ****?

I spent 9 months in a womb with him so not too weird and we stopped doing this when we were like 4.
Oohh right yeah you're brothers.
Sorry I forgot that

Sigh. School has shafted me with my subject selection for next year so now I have to pick between Chem and Physics instead of doing both (wtf?). And potentially pick a subject I have no interest or clue about next year. Could be alright though because it opens up the option to do a Uni subject or some bullshit like that which boosts the good ol' ATAR.

Just curious but what subjects did everyone on here do in Year 12?

English, Maths A, REE, Geography, Legal Studies, Drama and Economics

You going to a school where doing a religious subject is compulsory? If you are I seriously advise you to do REE over SOR (unless it's compulsory to do the latter to be eligible for ATAR - I have no idea, I'm from Qld). It'll help massively with managing your workload.

I did English, Further, Physics, Woodwork, Japanese and 3&4 Music in year 11. Basically flunked half the classes and decided I wanted to go to uni after I finished. Did a year of TAFE and I just finished my degree this year.

None of the subjects I did were relevant and there's no real 'easy subjects', as there's a lot of scaling. I remember woodwork went down like 8 points for me.

English 3A/B, Math 2C/D, Modern History, Politics and Law, Financial Studies (Which was a Non-ATAR unit for me. I suck at science and was never gonna pass an ATAR level Chemistry unit).
