SparkleNarkle , when’s this press conference?

12:00pm tomorrow (or earlier) in this thread. Had my tonsils out yesterday so I've been managing recovery and making a decision. Rest assured, I'll make a call

On another note, I'm heading to Margaret Court Arena for Amy Shark next year and it will be the first time I've gone to MCA. Anyone happen to know of a nice pub or restaurant nearby to grab a bite to eat before the concert? Also, is the arena easy to access by foot from the CBD or would I be better to get an Uber/train/tram? Thanks everyone :thumbsu:
Get off at Richmond Station and go to one of the many good bars or restaurants on Swan St before you wander over. There might even be a decent gig on at the Corner so you don't have to see Amy Shark, too.

Heartbreaker Bar is in the CBD, walked there after Paramore earlier this year. They have Connie’s Pizza inside which was mad good.

Get around it if you get the chance.

She was pretty average at the ARIA's last week, but she's better than that. Same with George Ezra (who I'm not going to) - the acoustics inside the ARIA's venue must have been horrendous to make them sound so bad

The last couple of days have given me a chance to reflect on my first BFFCL season, the accomplishments I have made both individually and as a team, and the friends I have made along the way. The BFFCL has been fantastic for me, venturing away from the 'homeland' of the FJGD and meeting many new people.

Coming into my debut season, I hoped to make an impact and win a premiership, unfortunately, as a team we had a disappointing first half of the season, although the back half of the season provided a glimpse into the future and where the Bounders can head

While I nominated the Red Centre Kangaroos as my first preference heading into the draft, I was delighted to be taken so early in the draft by the Blue Mountains Bounders, and winning the clubs Best and Fairest is such an honour. The team and the culture has grown on me throughout the season, despite the team not reaching the goals we had hoped for at the start of the season

It is clear that the season did not pan out the way anyone of us had hoped for at the Bounders, but I can see exciting things ahead for the team, which is why I will be continuing with the Bounders for BFFCL|02. Forming a strong opening bowling partnership with Frankston Rover has been exciting, and I am looking forward to building on our first season together

I thank both the Red Centre Kangaroos and the Northern Phoenix for their interest, and look forward to continuing with the Bounders

This probably would have been more relevant on the BFFCL board :D

Was it you who waxed about how much you loved the Espy a while back? Have you been back yet?

I might be thinking of someone else
