Merge Sturt with Norwood or Port and you're dead to me.

I dont want to give too much away but I havnt merged anyone YET. One could still be on the cards however Sturt's fans reluctance to a merger has been noted.

One of the things I’m most proud of about the people of this board is that rarely, if ever, does anybody get flamed down purely because of the club they support. I mean, Crows and Port supporters getting on well? You just don’t see that much around here.

Totally agree.

In fact, on the odd occasion it does happen (usually when someone new comes to the board) it's really jarring because of how peaceful it is here.

Well the 1983 part at least. Not sure if I should continue the story beyond there in the same thread or a new one. I’ll probably use the same one.

I have this SANFL which is almost finished, but if I was doing homework yesterday like I should have it would be no where near done. Plus another one based out of 1980 which is sort of like a break away Super League scenario but that one has come to a bit of a halt due to FLO, WC and Can-Am.

I think if the continuation is soon after 1983 continue it in the same thread. If it is like a 20 or 30 years later What if (like FT 2 AFL portfolios) start a new thread and link the 1983 portfolio in the new OP.

Since alt history portfolios are in, I'm revising my AFL alt. history one I posted earlier:

post-1986 season, the big 4 (VFL, SANFL, WAFL and TFL), facing large debts, merged into 1 league - the AFL. 1987 starts out with 4 expansion teams to create a 3 division, 14-team league and then timeskip to the modern day which will update it to a 48-team league. Hoping to start it once I get photoshop (when I finish all my exams) and when I finish my Aus football designs portfolio (here).

Also considering a QPR-Shute Shield-John I Dent Cup merger (rugby union)

I’ve only met MKMatty and Bacon Warrior IRL - but both are definitely top cobbers.
