Apologies in advance for the self-indulgence of this post, but last time I disappeared I had a few people wondering where I'd gone, and I know that it can be concerning when people just vanish suddenly after being active posters (And, to be fair, I need the likes. I'm extremely close to finishing up with a 2:1 like: post ratio :p ).

But I'm calling it quits around these parts; hanging up the keyboard, if you like (although it's attached to my laptop, so I don't really know how I'm going to manage that one). For a while now I just haven't been getting the same enjoyment out of BF that I used to, yet just find myself returning here out of habit because I've done it for so long, especially as a means of procrastination when I should be working or studying. In BF terms I think this would akin to the players who belong in the "Players who went on for a year too long" thread.

Maybe there will be a time in a few years when I come back, I don't know. But in the mean time, it's been a pleasure. Here's to being 2020 Premiers.
I know how you feel. Sometimes I get so sick of BF I log out for a full hour. Lurk from time to time kangaspurs and stay safe. Look forward to your comeback at some stage.

What race were they GR? ferball wants to know so he can adjust his thoughts accordingly :drunk:

I don't like seeing other people's bullshit violence but I especially don't like seeing the same type of shit I saw in Melbourne last December and I think your posting comes close to it. You seem to be pushing a narrative with it.

You can say what you like but sooking about how other people interpret your words is still just sooking.

Other examples of fights/altercations I've posted?

I'll save you the trouble. There are none. It's n=1. So next time I post a video of a fight I'll make sure I post another one with the race in reverse. In the interest of equality. It's not my fault that you can't have a discussion without adding your own bias. You've clearly got history with race-related issues. That's your issue. Don't add the bias to others. Sometimes people look for issues of race when they aren't even there. You're an expert at it.

An American fashion label has raised eyebrows for a collection of hoodie jumpers with ‘bullet’ holes in them, bearing the names of schools that have experienced horrific mass shootings.
The jumpers were showcased during New York Fashion Week last week and posted online.
They are adorned with names like Sandy Hook, Virginia Tech, Stoneman Douglas and Columbine and have been distressed with details to resemble bullet holes.

Made by Bstroy, a streetwear brand created by two friends in their 20s from Atlanta who met on MySpace, the outfits are making waves on social media for the extremely controversial source of inspiration.

Since the outcry the pair have released an ‘artistic statement’ regarding the jumpers.
“Sometimes life can be painfully ironic,” they said.
“Like the irony of dying violently in a place you considered to be a safe, controlled environment, like school. We are reminded all the time of life’s fragility, shortness, and unpredictability yet we are also reminded of its infinite potential.”

Cool, then calling a white person that posts 1 video a racist is completely justifiable then :drunk:

Guilty until proven...nope, just guilty!

Got a link to me calling you a racist after you posted that video?

Daniel Wells: $600k pa to play 15 games. That’s $120,000 per game or about $60,000 per hour.

Nice work if you can get it.

Is it established that he did get $600k p.a. for each of the 3 years? If so, wow.
That’s the reported amount.

FWIW, Google tells me the minimum wage in Sierra Leone is about $0.03 per hour. So Wellsy earned in an hour the same amount as 2 million Leonies.

I used to have a Subaru Leone. Imagine 2 million of them.
