Now that the Hunters laptop has been confirmed, the media is starting to release the PG stuff.. worth a read, it also gets a hell of a lot worse.
Paying $45K for 10 days in rehab or going to prison for 10 times longer than you would if busted with coke if daddy hadn't payed for the rehab...

**** you Joe Biden.

Does Labour have a version of that?
Maybe the Greens. I don't think so tho because the ALP isn't openly chasing the votes of people who are racist, stupid and scared. People who prefer the ALP will usually just preference them ahead of the Coalition. Hanson and Palmer are both former Liberal party or Coalition members.

During the last election UAP had ads on youtube saying the Labor government had leased air bases to the Chinese. There wasn't even a Labor government at the time! (Then Palmer tried to sell a mine to the Chinese and iirc it had an airport for FIFO workers capable of acting as an airbase.)

the dude used nude pictures of his dead brothers wife to unlock specials on pornhub..

but I’m honestly more interested/worried in what he was doing with a Chinese spymaster, that goes directly to our national security..

Do you mean Hunter?

He is creepy as.

Might be time to check Tef's twitter to see if he has melted about it.

But these floods weren't just the beginning.

This is the fourth of these floods in this general area since 2008 when a smaller one (that dropped 600ml in three hours over a smaller area on the Border Ranges) flooded Kyogle. That was the beginning. This is just more evidence that bigger tropical depressions than ever before are now regularly parking themselves somewhere over the area from Ballina to Noosa and dumping unheard of amounts of rain.

Since that Kyogle flood we had Brisbane and Toowoomba getting wiped out in 2011. Then we had Debbie in 2017, then these floods.

In between those last two we had the worst fire disaster in the state's history, after three years of really bad fire conditions up here. They started within four months of the flood that caused cyclone Debbie. Within four months of what was the previously worst "1 in 1000 year" flood.

Anyway fires aside we've had those four flood events in the last 15 years.

And every bloody time some COALition mouth breathing zombie has been on tv saying "This is a one in a 1000 year flood!" "Nothing to see here and nothing to do with climate change."

We've had four of them in 14 ****en years!!!!

I think the old one in <insert long time duration here > event it's all about headline grabbing, keep in mind the old postie delivering year 12 results used to get a run every year before they started emailing the results out.

Regardless I thing the old famine and feast weather events are the new norm. They were tipping a wet summer here but it was the driest in 4 years. The la ninia events might be wetter up in East gippy towards the border and right up to se Queensland but we rely on the south western Front for out summer rain. And all we got out of la ninia were unseasonal easterlie winds that blocked the fronts and had no moisture left in them that was already precipitated on the east. In saying that iam not complaining as with this new property we had enough water on the existing shallow dams to get through this season but it was dry enough to get a contractor in to enable to rebuild the shallowest one.

Bit of a Goldilocks year for us I suppose. Just hope the winter is wet enough to get some water in it now.

Up here its always been Barnaby and various other coalition w***ers who have said it. They always frame it in the context that because its a rare event its not connected to climate change. Gets a bit stupid when they are saying that every few years.

Someone with real weather experience once told me a one in 1000 year event is actually an event that has a 0.1% chance of happening in any given year. One in a 100 years has a 1% chance etc etc. So you can see how the media would take that and run with the 1 in 1000 year thing. Politicians repeating it for political reasons is annoying tho. Especially while they say "WE shouldn't politicise this."

Watch this 7 minute video. You're right about it being probability but how do they determine that probability?

PS. Anyone who says we shouldn't politicise something is themselves politicising it.

Not surprised but it’s still sad.

good the last thing we need is educated women. Beggars belief to think otherwise. With the amount the USA spent per day in Afghanistan...

They'd have been better off getting everyone who wanted out out. And levelled the rest. The world wouldn't be a worse place had that scenario played out.

Which is all kinds of tragic I know. Oh well.

I watched a doco on the Taliman band recently and it was ****ed up. I thought there'd be ranting and raving but it was calm and deliberate. Some dude got caught with alcohol. Was arrested charged and was waiting the verdict, life in prison or death.

There is no place in this world for that shit.

We should open our boarders to those that want out.
