Scored a tripod today. Someone dropped it off cos they were cleaning out some junk. Dropped roound said "do you want this" and pulled out a broken tripod with phone mounting and some weird light set up for tic tok rubbish.

One screw later and it working. Dunno about the light yet but who cares.
Now you just need another solar flare.

She looks so similar to the girl we lost about 3 years ago. Thats a great innings. Sad days but happy memories.
A lot of great memories. The kids are rightly shattered but I’m sure it won’t be long before they’re asking for a new one.

I did some digging and found this old photo of when she was a pup. The cutest

Hard enough on adults, yra the kids will be down for a while.

If your a dog person only another dog will make your home feel homely again.

The last remaining animal from my farm is Geoffrey the cat. He's near on 15 and weights just about 7kg. He's a big cat, active and just a bad bastard. Used to bring home a rabbit every few weeks, plonk it on the doorstep as an offering for us. Rabbits never had a head mind you. As fearless as they come this cat. Would launch an attack at any dog that got too close, Maremmas included. We had 2 alpaccas that hated him, but 55 ducks that idolised him, and they'd follow him anywhere on the farm. Geoffrey pops up, then 200 yards behind comes a waddling cacophony of ducks.
Anyway, we've since moved down here to be beside the bay, and we've started using Geoffrey as a taste tester. He doesn't like oranges, but loves vegemite, certainly keen on bacon and mince, though not really a fan of onion. Not too interested in pineapple, but we gave him some milk 2 weeks ago. He had three laps of it, looked at me, 2 more laps then gave me stink eye - as if to say, "I'm bloody well nearly 15, why is this the first time I'm tasting this stuff!?!!"
Every time I go to the fridge, he's bolting to the kitchen. Omg he is a milk junkie!!l Like a seagull to a chip, he is off his head. The kettle dinging is now his wake up call. Anyone want a cat?

Ps. He's not known for his affection, 3 pats and then he bites - not much of a selling point
