Just start a pm with Pickitt and tell him you're going to help him win the Beez.
Five seasons as Gumbies captain wasn't enough?

I’d say the Vamps list would still be better than the current Furies/Phoenix/Gumbies.
1. Yeah, nah
2. You'd be robbing Peter to pay Paul

I know we're not folding or merging any teams but a 12-team comp is much more likely than a 14-team comp as things currently stand.

Oh— I’m not suggesting putting the Vampires in S35, that would significantly impact some current teams.

But even after this season’s retirements (many of which were part of the Vampire expansion bid) the squad that was the S30 Vampires that are still in the league would form a decent foundation for a team (T2B_ , Millky95 & Dingster )

But anyway, Kennedy Parker lets fix this hey… :(
I'm looking at it now. Bombers and Swamprats can play Round 18 since both have the bye.

But trying to remove the extra game just opens up a new can of worms.

I suppose I've always got the nuclear option of bringing back the AFL All-Stars in place of the bye.

Can’t wait for your reign of terror to end.

The big difference between the two was that the Vampires was built by Millky95 using mostly inactives , rookies & players who were still “learning” the league.

The Vampires failed bid led to a large group of posters who helped each other navigate the league, at multiple different clubs. At one stage captaining a 1/4 of the clubs in the league.

Millky95 deserved that team to go ahead & should be respected for the efforts he made after the failed bid to ensure the players he recruited stayed with the game long-term.

Thanks for the kind words, M

The Vamps may have never played a game but they suceeded in more ways than I could have imagined. I am very proud of that list and every player on that list

But then how many games do they play compared to everyone else if you’re essentially giving them an extra game?

Kennedy Parker

Rounds 1-4 and 9/10 -18 or whatever it is should be last season’s fixture reversed.

Then in the remaining 5-8/9rounds, We play our extra games each. Some rounds have 3 byes, some have more, whatever it is. One of those rounds will need to be in effect, a large bye round for most teams in order for that to happen.

It’s not ideal, but it’s the solution I have for now.

Most of it should be okay. I'm going to take all the rounds with 1 team on the bye. Piece it into a 13-round floating fixture. Then for the last 5 figure out which 4 rounds will have 3 teams on the bye and 1 round with 1 team on the bye.

Be better if this was injected into the mid season rather than tacked on at the end…

The round order is easy to swap once the matchups within them all work out.
