I would like to go to Norway and feel for them at the moment. However, everyone I have known who has been to Spain has loved the place. Barcelona is supposed to be an awesome city. The weather is good, the people are apparently friendly and I love tapas and sangria.
In terms of history, they were one of the most dominant nations through the 15 and 1600's. They were explorers and, although they did it brutally, there is now a whole continent that speaks Spanish.
