Turkey

Italy probably has more to offer from a historical and cultural point of view but I prefer Turkey as a country to visit. Some really interesting tourist destinations there like Istanbul, Gallipoli, Ephesus, Pamukkale, Kusadasi and Cappadocia. The Turkish people are very friendly too, they love Aussies.

Well first off I'll say no matter who wins I'll be voting for them against Italy.

Epic match up, love both countries but my gut reaction when seeing them paired was Spain and I'll stick with that.

If I spoke both languages fluently I think I'd rather live in Spain.

For all the stereotypes of sexy French women I found far more eye candy walking the Spanish streets than any other country I've been to. Love their lifestyle, love their language, love their soccer teams, love the entire vibe of their country.

(In fact my bigfooty username is actually a Spanish word)

Culturally, historically, cuisine, nature, people. Wins on all. Spain sure has some decent beaches, but I think it's way overrated by people. Uninspiring in general.

Tough match up, I really like both countries. France probably has slightly more to offer in terms of scenery, culture, food, wine etc but Spain has better beaches, weather and a more relaxed lifestyle, with siestas during the day and partying through the night, which is pretty hard to beat.
