His scoring ability is known and it's terrible. He averaged 38 last year in 4 full games. Fine tap ruckman but he doesn't get much of it around the ground (what we need for fantasy points). Not sure why the Saints got him actually. They'll have the same problem as last season with two high quality rucks who can't really play forward. Very poor JS, very poor scoring ability, pass. Without any ruck back up who will play, it also means Sandy is a pass in my book. At the moment I've got Nic Nat and Pyke in the ruck, SFA on the bench. That may change if a rookie ruck surprisingly gets games.ive read and heard from a few interviews that longer is no walkup for the ruck spot at the saints. hickey will have first crack with stanley pinch hitting. so i reckon its a risk having longer as a starting ruck and hes only played 9 career games so his scoring ability is a bit of an unknown.
