Teams Rate my 2014 AFL Fantasy team

I just made my team, I still have $21,800 left.
I was tossing up between Mitchell and Luke Parker upforward, and the lack of Swan in my mid is troubling. What are your thoughts?

Been away for a month and just sat down for an hour, so the team is kinda rushed and filled with the standard characters. I also have 93,000$ in the bank but I cant decide if its worth trying to upgrade someone (plausibly Martin, Sheed, McIntosh or Fasolo) or keep it handy.

Any thoughts or comments much appreciated.

i count 5 risky picks (injury prone players) so id suggest 3 maximum. Maybe rethink Chapman (will be heavily managed), and Ellis (both Sheed and Ellis will struggle to crack best 22 at Eagles at the same time)

With the 93k left over you could upgrade McIntosh to McEvoy/Lobbe/Naitanui, that would give you a bit more certainty.

Fasolo safer than Nahas? Was thinking of 'downgrading' Cotchin to Hannebery or Treloar, and then upgrading Nahas to Fasolo.

1. Is the upgrade to Nahas worth the downgrade from Cotchin?

Cotchin is a gun, cheap too. However, Hannebery and Treloar are also good options. Nahas is a sub risk I would think, but Fasolo would be too coming back from injury. If it was me I'd go Fasolo because he's in their 22 for sure and go one of the others. There are heaps of mid options around.

Having said that I just put Nahas in my team, albeit on the bench.

hmmm, fair point about chapman, he just seems so cheap haha. Might look at using my 93k on turning him into a power forward.
As for Ellis, I was thinking I'd keep him on the bench for some cash profits, but I am now thinking about using him as a trade down player later once he has 2 games under his belt. With Sheed, well I just like the look of blue and gold in the team, couldnt help myself

Pretty good premiums. Would look elsewhere though for a replacement for Rohan. Never been a good fantasy scorer, he is an impact player not an accumulator. Will probably average 50 max (at a guess, Sydney fans would have more of an idea). And don't know a lot about Honeychurch and Fuller.

Thanks for feedback... Rookies aren't locked in yet, still waiting on the pre-season to see who is playing and their roles. Selected at the moment based by gut feel, not much else. Im not sold on Maric currently, looking at Nic Nat depending on fitness as well as Lobbe and Berger

Great, rookies subject to change or course. Gibbs a little risky to me as not sure where/how he'll be played, but where's the fun without a little risk. I like Birch and Ibbot as well, good price for their potential and great pods.

I'd upgrade Longer, he's cheap though I don't think the points/$$ return will be sufficient, better of with Grundy or Sandi imo. As for Kruezer he's good though watch out if Warnock is playing as he might bring down his points. Also there seems to be enough good mid rookies coming through that you could move McDonald into def.
