mate it's hard to say becuase they're all guns aren't they. buddy is one that comes to mind for consistency like you said but it's hard to see him having another year like he did last one. i'd initally focus on gettting ottens out of the ruck. I can't see him playing more than 15 h&a games this year (unfortunately)

i don't know what to do wiht 3 mids that are rookies. it could be a good money maker but could backfire as well. do you think my team will be competitive enough in the early rounds before i can upgrade the cash cows? thoughts please

i'm stoked wiht the backline + rucks, pretty happy with the fwds, am stoked having the 3 guns in the mid but am just questioning having 3 1st year players starting on the field. What does everyone think.
For a start, great team..
Only flaw is too many rookies in the mid. I'd suggest that you spread the risk and only have one in each position. I'm guessing you have no money left.
Wonna isn't really a rookie but a good cheap fwd. I'd suggest you may need to sacrifice either Ziebell, Henderson or Murphy for a rookie.
Same with the backs. Waters or Adcock out for a rookie.
that should free up some cash for your midfield. I'd keep only one of the Rookies on the field. and upgrade the other two to either a premium and a cheap mid or two mid priced keepers.

Injury concerns - Kerr/Drummond/Chapman/Rioli/Waite/Gumbleton/Scully. I don't mind taking a risk or two but all of these guys have serious concerns/history of injuries.
Presti is a spud of the highest order(SC wise).
No need to be nasty, just give him some direction.
Look at changing Presti to a rookie or even Beau Waters, check out the NAB cup first though as he is another injury risk.
Don't mind the mids but I would downgrade Rohan (won't play many games maybe someone like Sheuy, again check nab cup stats to decide)
Rucks - good to take a risk, by the end you would hope Mummy could turn into a cox/sandi/clarke otherwise you will lose a lot of points.
Forwards - I'd leave Chapman by himself at that price, maybe look towards a Goodes or O'Keefe. Just make sure you keep an eye on Rioli and Waite in the NAB cup.

My mids are :
Ablett, Pendles, Vince, Priddis, Selwood, Martin
Lucas, Jetta. But these two will probably change before the bounce.
Admittedley I have sacrificed my back line to a certain extent to get those players. If you're looking for a cple of mid range mids with plenty of potential, I'd say Dalziell/McVeigh/Masten/Collins/Beams/Cotchin/Ziebell are all good options. But really, there's a plethora of mid/low price mids with potential.

Because they are not a SC "expert" we should just laugh at them. We all started somewhere once.
I'd look at downgrading Riewoldt to a Harvey/Higgins type and using that money to upgrade Henschal.
I would also look at downgrading one of your mids, you have a lot of "keeper" types. By Round 22 you want Ablett and possibly Judd, Murphy and co in there. Downgrade one of them, possibly Kerr as he seems to be a tease and use that money to upgrade Myers to a Hurn type

Keeping an eye out during NAB Cup for someone (anyone!) to replace Maguire and maybe X. Never rated Maguire's fantasy value when he was at full flight for the Saints. See what happens with this one I think

What a midfield! I think you may need to downgrade one or two of those to a rookie and upgrade the X Clarke and Maguire's in your backline. Here is my first team for the year.

LOl.. have to agree with the other guy... Cracking midfield..
Then again, I tend to stack it a bit too.. I actually don't think it's a bad team. I'd take out Clarke because he'll fall over in rd3. Hall is a risk as is Murphy but for different reasons. Reimers and Vez look like they could go somewhere this year. Waite could be a bit of a worry too. Judd is also out for 4 weeks so you might want to consider that and Goodes usually comes good toward the end of the year.

very underwhelming back line.
Mids look impressive as do rucks.
Fwds OK but I'd be worried about Hall cracking. However, it could be a master stroke.
pretty handy looking team.Backs are pretty spot on. You could maybe get Goddard by upgrading Shaw and down grading Kennelly but that would be it. But I like the way you have it.
Probably one rookie too many in the mids. i'd be tempted to drop Ball for another cheaper Keeper and upgrade either Trengove or Martin. I think Rusling is injured????
Rucks are about as good as you'll get.
I'm off Oav this year but that's just me. Goodes starts slow so you may want him later on when he drops a little in price.
