Solid, probably more solid than mine. Couple things to mention though

Backline looks good. I am not 100 percent sold on Malceski (or Morris for that matter), but if both can have good seasone, I guess they will be worth it.

Mids are pretty good. Knowing you being an Essendon fan, Watson if there because of that, and I hope, for your sake, that he does well. I hope Cooney has a good year this year, he pissed me off last year, but he should fire this year, and the Bulldogs will probably (hopefully not) have a good year. You have Trengove, Martin and Morabito, which should pay off later off in the season.

Rucks fine, no changes needed.

Forwards may be a little weak, but should be alright. I haven't seen Bradshaw much, should get a lot of it because Sydney will look to give it to him, Gia should do well (maybe better) than last year, Burton may be getting on (he is on my team, too), but he's still pretty good, and played well in the NAB Cup. Gumby may not play, but you have reserves to back him up.

Overall pretty cool team.






Now my team. I posted this last night, but I wanna get opinions from heaps of people, to see what is wrong (if anything is wrong).

DEF: Goddard, Enright, Hodge, Gilbert, Kennelly, Hunt, Sheppard
RES: Maguire, Davis

MID: Ablett, Selwood, Gibbs, Vince, Trengove, Martin

Yea morris could be a bit iffy but hes gonna play 22 games if fit so i see him as the best player at that price.
If watson does as well as he has the last few seasons or better mabye that will be great, if gotta felling cooney will come back from that dud year and fire
And i realise my forwards are my weak link but Bradshaw should top sydneys goal list, Gia has bulked up heaps and gumby might play in essendons challenge game this weekend there gonna see how he pulls up but by rd1 if all goes well should be fine

Ur team is strong but there are a few changes i would make to perfect it.

In ur backs im not sure about having both hunt and sheppard i see sheppard as more as a sub player
Ur midfield i think is ur strong point cant go wrong with any of those boys.
Mabye take out harvey from ur forward line(I think hes wasted money) and move tippet to forward line and upgrade a ruck to mabye Mcintosh or Jolly

If anything starting 2 rookies on the ground in the mids and fwds is a 50/50. That is some people's plan though.
I'm tempted with Harvey but not convinced.

Hmmm, too tired to fix up the quote thingy.

Lemme see about Brent Harvey. Assuming he can pull 100 points a game, that would make him about as worthy as a guy that costs 530K. I know he is getting old, and he may not pull 100 points a game, but he will surely improve on last year's average. Playing for a mediocre team with a mediocre midfield, I would assume that he will get a lot of the ball. I could put Tippett up forward, and downgrade one of my other players to pick up Sandi.

I dunno, I'll think about it.

EDIT: Infact, if you take the 0 for the round Brent got injured in, he averages 94 for the games he played. I think I should take a stab on him, risks are risks, some worth taking

I am also iffy about the 2 rookies in the mids and fwds, but Franklin does look good this year, and Dennis-Lane is being talked up massively, so I think I can use my 3 cheapies for a week and then switch Franklin in round 2.

Backs look good, I wouldnt go with Waite because im unsure where and how well he will play, but its your choice.
The rest looks pretty much perfect, Chappy bit of a risk because he gets injured every year, but in Supercoach you have to take risks so if you want him stick with him

Mids = very nice (i like Connors too) i guess you'll get Ablett mid season?

Rucks - like the Nic Nat gamble here

Forwards - Maybe downgrade Bazza to Burton and upgrade Varcoe to Buddy

Im a bit worried about my forward line, thinking of downgrading sandilands and up-grading either Murphy, Dangerfield or Burton. Feedback would be much appreciated

Backline is solid, Waite is the only real concern. Like most, i am hoping he can get back to his form before his knee injury, but history suggests he won't be anywhere near his 95 average, expect 65-80 average from him in the first half of the year.

I like you midfield, If burgoyne is fit, which apparently he is. Can't fault it.

Forward line is a little weak. I'd down grade Murphy and upgrade Gia..! reconsider your emergencies also.

Overall pretty good..!

won't be even close to my starting team.

Alot of people, i think are trying to come up with too much of a balanced team and miss out on selecting an extra premium or two.

In your backline and forward line, you should have at least one rookie, aslong as you pick the right bench players, your 7th player on the ground can be rotated with the bench players and should minimise the dreaded doughnut.

Obviously my first upgrades would be warnock and watts.

Hey Bobber, no i feel that the forwards is the line we need to have early strength in this year so keep it as it is.
I like that young gun ruck line up.
Mids quite deep be careful with Koby - maybe take Shuey for starters.
Mmm like the backs too - nice team i reckon!
