Looks good buddy, like others have stated your ruck department is a big risk but if it pays off then the money you spent to get 13 premiums will all be worth it. ATM im doing the same thing with my rucks, but might change as i started with a premium but changed yesterday to hmac.

Yeh it's a big risk backing Mac and my r2 to score well enough to justify my other premium spot. Although I am a big believer of having as many midfielders as possible in your team therefore having the rookie ruck allows me to have a fwd line of buddy fyfe goodes dusty and n.roo. like the look of your team Freddy, looks similar to mine but the rucks could be a concern. This looks like how youve managed to fill your forawrd line with the 5 premiums but may be something to look at before rd1 and also including T. Walsh as a fwd line rookie who looked strong. all in all good team

Very nice team mate. A mentioned the rucks are very risky, but I can see it paying off if Hmac has a big year. Backs very strong, as are the forwards. Basically the same mids as me apart from Gibson, overall very strong.

Thoughts on where I should use the 48k if so. I've strengthened the rucks, but also weakened the mids so I'm hoping that will pay off.

Backs: Strong. Not sold on Clarke even at such a low price but could be wrong.

Mids: Have gone with the 3 premium, 3 rookie setup as well. Rookies all look good although I haven't heard much about Brown, though he is in my team too as a M/D link.

Rucks: As others have said, it will be interesting to see how McIntosh goes with Goldstein in but is worth the risk I think.

Forwards: Looks good. I think Dangerfield could be a good pick but had the same thoughts last year which didn't really work out and can't bring myself to pick him again.

Overall a pretty good team in my opinion.

Massive backline. Huge. Hargrave is tempting but is he going to be a premium? Don't see it. That makes him and overpriced rookie IMHO.

Mids look pretty solid.

Rucks are a risk. 3 rookies. For mine, that puts you 2 trades down.

Big fwds as well. My only comment would be whether or not Fyfe will maintain his price. Might certainly be at the top of the fwds at the end of the season but I'll be looking at upgrading to him later.

Very solid team with rucks the only weakness, I don't think leuenberger has been in the best form so if your going for a sole ruck premium maybe cox is the way to go. Chapman is also a risk to start with considering his injury history.

I like it alot. Not sold on Birchall though, last year was his only good year. I'd try to squeeze Deledio in, should be good to go come round 1. I've gone with Leuenberger and the 3 rookies too but have some concerns over him with his preseason not shaping so great. Forwards are great, same as mine

I like the 3 premium midfield option, gives you enough firepower while also raising the cash through those rookies. There aren't as many rookies down back so going strong there early seems to be a good choice.

Forward line looks weak, Porplyzia, Saad, Zorko and Smedts all starting and the latter 3 may not even play.

Downgrade one of your midfielders, and grab a forward. Forwards are usually pretty safe, most stay around the same price every year and the only huge exception to that has been Didak last year. Otherwise they are usually pretty solid.

Who gave you this helpful advice?
Midfield is ordinary, move chapman and martin (In exchange for cloke and zaha) to the fwds and replace with one of Ablett/murphy/swan/boyd and a rookie, then upgrade watson to one of the ones I just mentioned.

I would then swap one of dellolio and adams for Smedts. Next fix up your mid rookies coz they are woeful.... look for magner, smith, neale etc

Rest of the team isn't too bad
