Yeah Dalziell named and so is Sheppard as well although I'm not sure Shepards role will be conducive to dreamteam. I don't think Dalziell style of football is particularly damaging but he does rack up those disposals. He's an incredible runner but he seems to link up constantly through the midfield and I suppose his tank allows him to make a lot of contests.

After a bit of mixing it up, this is what I have come up with. Would really like to know what people think as its a matter of humiliation and dignity among mates 
Backs: Cornes, Fisher, Hodge, Hurn, Greenwood, S. Selwood, Kenelly (Maguire, A. Smith)
Mids Selwood, Dal Santo, Cooney, Ward, Kerr, Trengove (Martin, Bastinac)
Rucks Kruezer, Hille (Warnock, Roughead)
I've got a dilemma with the Fwd line though, I cant decide whether to have
Forwards O'Keefe, Higgins, Giansiracusa, R. Murphy, LeCras, Rioli, Dangerfield (Dennis-Lane, Walsh)
Or
Forwards O'Keefe, Higgins, Giansiracusa, R. Murphy, LeCras, Zeibell, Dangerfield (Dennis-Lane, Tapscott)

I don't know if Rioli will be fit for round 1.
And then maybe downgrade Henderson for Waters or Ladson.
Then swap Goodes and O'Keefe around then you should have money money to upgrade O'Keefe to a better player.

I know they all seem juicy - but 5 swans players to mee seems far too many - given they are not a high scoring team
a couple unique choices such as sylvia, gray and even hall...both hall and gray could have big scoring years..and we all know how capable sylvia is of pulling big scores..
thoughts anyone??
your midfield is star studded and you have 4 great captain choices right there.
your backline is a little weak, but you make up for it in your midfield
overall quite a good team, id watch henderson carefully in his pre season games

It's just the Sydney don't really have any other real gun midfielder and O'Keefe will probably be the one who gets the tag.

I'd change Armitage and Dalziell to someone who you really think will play 22 games and swap Tarrent for RDL.

This team could take out the car IMO.
i like most except the following.
Cooney - don't believe the hype, downgrade him and upgrade hille
running a big risk in the forward line...Higgins is a gun but with a rookie already starting your cover looks brittle . IMO it is much better to start 3 rooks in your mids and then none anywhere else.

I can't fault anything with that team, I know some people don't believe in Cooney, but last year he struggled coming off his brownlow, he should be better this year. The only thing I could fault would be Dangerfield (i'm just not a fan of him as a dt player that's all).
I would keep higgins.
you just need DL in as a cover rather than starting.
Just wait for NAB for Hille.
your team is very well put together.
Looks good on paper, but I see two or three weaknesses:
1) Hille - no certainty to be ready for round 1 and reports on his performance and fitness from intraclub are mixed. Perhaps consider Mumford if hille doesnt get up.
2) Starting a fwd rookie is risky and there is no standout to really use. (many teams have taken this strategy and I feel they may come unstuck, with starting a fwd rookie eg: Gumby, TDL or Tapscott etc) Personally Id suggest downgrading Cooney to say Masten, and earning 100k cash to try upgrade TDL for a mor reliable cheap foward.
3) only other potential weakness is Ladson. Has been named for NAB cup, so just monitor progress.
Im sure there will be one or two rookies apart from the ones everyone has already selected. that bobs up in NAB cup, and gets people adjusting their teams! lets hope so anyway...
Really nice. If it was me, i'd skip on franklin with 3 forward rookies. Though if on the teamsheets two of those rookies are playing rnd 1 then you're set. (Or if you're happy to cop the one zero).
I've almost had this team myself, but moved onto something completely different since.
