In the backs, starting Maguire and Ladson would worry me.

I'm not as keen on McVeigh as others. He's never been a great DTmer and I'm not sure why that will change now. He's also suspended for round 1.

Cooney is also not considered great value as a DTmer, but others think he's ready to break out. Remember, he only averaged 85 in his Brownlow year.

You have a strong forward line, which is reasonable due to the lack of rookies available.

I reckon you need another cashcow in that team. But you may have a different strategy.

Backs - I like your backs but imo downgrade Sheppard for someone lower and then upgrade Hunt for Suban.

Mids - Nice midfield no need to change anything yet.

Rucks - Perfect.

Forwards - Perfect, just make sure you have an emergency who'll play because Franklin is out for round 1.

I'd prefer Armitage to Beams around that price. Armo hasn't really had a breakout year yet and I suspect he is just on the cusp of doing so. There is definitely a spot for him now that Ball is gone and I reckon he is really ready to unleash after a frustrating couple of years.
Beams had a great year last year, but I wouldn't be expecting a dramatic improvement this year.

Hayes has had a bit of a stunted pre-season which always turns me off, I still think he'll be a good buy though. He'll be unique as well - if that counts for anything.

Two other minor things; I think Ladson is to well priced to pass up. I'd definitely prefer him +60k over Suban. The other little thing I'd go would be Swift over Masten, I really don't think Masten is a DTer, regardless of his accumulation skills. As a WC boy though you're probably more clued onto those two than me.

Cheers mate. Am keeping an eye on Armitage, and midfield setup not confirmed yet. Reckon I will stick with 2 guns & 2 first years, just a matter of getting the most out of the mid-rangers. Appreciate the feedback.
