feedbacks please :)

Dennis-Lane should start over Wonna, or at the very least be your emergency. Hunt, Ladson AND Kennelly are three risks in the backline, you'd want to upgrade two of them.

Yes yes, I'm aware of the huge risk in my ruck division. I feel like sacrificing 50 odd points in that department in order to shore up my defense and forward line is justifiable. For now... we'll see how Warnock goes this weekend, I suppose.

McNamara = 0 chance of playing, Put in Skipper, at least he is a shot. Trent west is as cheap too roughly.

Chapman will miss you 2-4 games, as long as you are ok with that

Ziebell IMO, isnt worth ignoring the ignore 2nd yr players rule..

Otherwise very good
Midfield is gold, dunno abt banner...

Drummond? No, not a DTer and will miss games.

You've got too many AFL listed rookies that are currently ineligible to play.
Other than that, solid team. :thumbsu:

Silvangi should get upgraded for Solly and Wright should get upgraded for Otten I think, Don't know much about Podsiadly but with Gelong aging and he being a mature age pickup I suspect he will get some games. Markovic, Again a mature pick up, Hall is a loose canon, Johnson is aging, Murphy is injury prone, Minson is there other Key Forward, I suspect Markovic will play also.

Excellent team structure even though I disagree with some of the individual selections. Why are so many people interested in Reid? I must be missing something, I have never really rated him.

Wow ok, good to know. But from what I'm hearing, apparently Dennis-Lane will?

I've got 30k to play around with so I'll see what I can do with the rucks. Hopefully I can cover Chappy when his hammies ark up. Banner played in the Port v Crows game and from what I saw played well. We'll see if he gets games, could be a good earner. And I'll see about Drummond - maybe swap for Waite? Does anyone have any ideas on how Josh Gibson may go?

Thanks for the advice, guys.

This might a stupid question but is it me or Kerr is cheap?? I thought I would see alot more people with him. I dont have him in but thinking of getting him.

Kerr is very cheap but there are only 6 midfield spots and there are so many other players that have less question marks over them.

The problem with Kerr is that for him to get a good DT score he has to play really well. Unlike some other players like like Cox / Swan who can get a good score even when they have a bad day.

Yep, TDL, barring injury, will be in our 22 for Round 1, and Roos is the kind of guy which will likely give him until Round 5 before starting to shuffle him around, as he's already got kudos from Roos.

Not sure why there is all the love for Gumbleton. Even if he does stay fit it's rare for a young key forward of his size to score very well with such little experience, bench maybe but I wouldn't have him starting (same with Watts)

Heres my team, not happy with both Waters and Hunt starting and will probably still try and change a few things.

Backs: Enright, Bock, Hodge, Hurn, Hurley, Hunt, Waters (Maguire, J. Trengrove)

Mids: Ablett, Cooney, Wells, Kerr, M. McVeigh, Trengrove (D. Martin, Bastinac)

Rucks: Cox, Hille (Warnock, Lobbe)

Forwards: S. Johnson, Pavlich. B.Harvey, Knights, Franklin, Medhurst, Dangerfield (Dennis-Lane, Tapscott)

Just a note for a few people, I virtually always overlook the teams that are simply in text. It seems a fair few others do as well because they are more often than not, the ones that are requoted by the OP and asked for an opinion on for a second time.

Just speaking personally, I am more inclined to provide help for people that take a screenshot of their team and put it up. I'm not really sure why, it just seems like it is easy to put into perspective and provide feedback for when you can see it all set out...

Just thought it was worth mentioning if your team was getting overlooked a bit.

Edit: That pic looks really blurry to me, not sure if that is tiredness or just the resize quality. Apologies to anyone that struggles with it..

Completely agree on Gumby. Has shown all the signs of potential wasted by injury. Looks like one of those blokes just not meant to play AFL footy.

Backs: As you say, Hunt and Waters need to be monitored. Me personally, not sure on Hurley.

Mids: I think you can spend money better. Wells, Kerr and Mcveigh come with a lot of risk through injury and suspension. Though Mcveigh does have something to prove this year so it could be a pretty good unique pick. Kerr is attractive and should go up in value, but don't expect many 100+ point games from him. Still struggles with a tag and handballs too much.

Rucks: As a WC man, I wouldn't go Cox. Naita will take ruck time from him and his pre-season has not been promising. With less km's each game, having a decent back-up, it may take him longer to pick up full fitness.

Everyone said Hille would be a lock last year.. but with talk of him staying up forward, and with him ageing slightly, plus being a very big guy on a knee re-con - just too many concerns for mine.

Forwards: Some risk but pretty good. I reckon its likely most will miss 2-3 games at some stage during the year - but by then you may have upgraded/downgraded based on value changes.

That sounds like I have really laid into your team! I didn't mean it that way. Nobody's team is wrong/right - it is all opinion and luck makes a big difference to any team. But I guess we all post here for other opinions and wouldn't be posting if we thought our team was 100% ready to go.

I'd prefer Armitage to Beams around that price. Armo hasn't really had a breakout year yet and I suspect he is just on the cusp of doing so. There is definitely a spot for him now that Ball is gone and I reckon he is really ready to unleash after a frustrating couple of years.
Beams had a great year last year, but I wouldn't be expecting a dramatic improvement this year.

Hayes has had a bit of a stunted pre-season which always turns me off, I still think he'll be a good buy though. He'll be unique as well - if that counts for anything.

Two other minor things; I think Ladson is to well priced to pass up. I'd definitely prefer him +60k over Suban. The other little thing I'd go would be Swift over Masten, I really don't think Masten is a DTer, regardless of his accumulation skills. As a WC boy though you're probably more clued onto those two than me.

Just my 2 cents :thumbsu:

Kerr was a great 3rd mid, as the no.1 option he hasn't handled the tag at all well. and he handballs too much.

he's not that cheap in the circumstances.

What's the go with Bastinac, realistic chance of playing a few games this year?

From all reports he will slot into the team very nicely!

Advice for my team please :)

Backs – Enright, Fisher, Shaw, Hodge, Kennelly, Ladson, Hunt (Sheppard, Trengrove)
Mids – Bartel (c), Mitchell, Kornes, Masten, Trengrove, Martin (Shuey, Bastianc)
Rucks – Kreuzer, Tippet (Warnock, Lobbe)
Forawrds – Roo, Pav, ROK, Buddy, Medders, Zeibell, Dangerfield (Dennis-Lane, Davis)
$61800 Left

What should i do with remainder of cash? Thinking of upgrading tippet to sandi but come up short like 7 grand.....any ideas? Downgrade lobbe as 4th ruckman.....but to who ....
