There are heaps of good bench options around the $90-100k mark that wont cost you too much more to get.

I learnt from last year that your bench can be more important than your best 22. There wasn't much between Boyd and Mitchell last year, and choosing one or the other won't cost your team. Your bench is so important because not only do they provide cover, they are also your main cash cows. Choose the right rookies for your bench and you're laughing!

That said, don't spend too much over $100k per player either.

To fix up your reserves may I suggest downgrading Gram to one of Shaw/Mackie or Fisher therefore leaving 20k to upgrade some reserves

Should I change anything? $10,900 left over, thanks in advance

Looks alright on field, however Sheppard might be to expensive for a back option (not that many options however) and Tapscott won't play untill mid season at least so change him to perhaps Posidadly, or swap Lobbe to the forwards and place Roughead on your bench

Backs: Goddard, Hodge, Shaw, Greenwood, Kennelly, Ladson, Waters (Sheppard, Trengove)

Mids: Swan, Gibbs, Mitchell, Vince, Ball, Martin (Shuey, Banner)

Rucks: Mcintoch, Hille (Skipper, Bass)

Forwards: Reiwoldt, Pavlich, Giansiracusa, Franklin, Varcoe, Dangerfield, hitchcock (dennis-Lane, Roberts)

Any feedback would be great

I'd downgrade a midfielder and upgrade Greenwood or Waters. The rest is good.

Bass wont play for at least a year, probably two.

Has only played two AFL games in his life mate ;).

anyone thinking of going kreuzer, tippet (seaby, warnock)

cheapest 0 injuries issues ruck possible.... though lots of money on the bench i guess.... though you could consider seaby a cash cow. (or substitute seaby for hille if you like him better)

Hey guys, if anybody could rate my team and give some feedback that would be awesome.

Tapscott injured for 2 months, Gumby might not play yet... though if he gets named then he should be OK. Shepp might not be best 22 so i wouldn't be starting him, but bench is OK.

hey guys just wondering what you guys think. Im not 100% happy with the backline as i feel its a little weak. Got 44k spare and not sure what to do with it.

Having Kenelly, Ladson and Hunt in the backline is a bit risky. Im not completely sold on Franklin this year yet either. Personally, I would downgrade Franklin to Dangerfield and upgrade Hunt.

Appreciate any feedback on my team below. Im not sold on Waite just yet, and NAB cup hasnt sold me on Greenwood either..

Backs: Goddard, Enright, Hodge, Ellis, Greenwood, Kenelly, Waters (Davis, Silvagni)

Mids: Pendelbury, Selwood, Mitchell, Cooney, Masten, Martin (Barlow, Bastinac)

Rucks: Sandilands, Tippet (Trengove, Fitzpatrick)

Forwards: Riewoldt, Pavlich, Gia, Zieball, Waite, Dangerfield, Rockcliffe (TDL, Pods)

Good looking team there mate, although a bit too good looking. I would look to upgrading some of your emergencies and also change Liam Anthony for another player around that price because you can get much better players than him. Downgrade Enright or Gram for Shaw or even downgrade Gram for Fisher and Enright for Shaw. I had Enright last year and im not the biggest fan, although Shaw will have a massive year after a strong pre season.

WAIT A MINUTE!!!! ur a friggin ******

My first ever season playing DT... here goes:

Defenders: B Goddard, C Enright, L Hodge, H Shaw, N Malceski, T Kennelly, J Hunt (B Sheppard, M Maguire)

Midfield: J Selwood, S Mitchell, J Watson, C Masten, J Trengove, D Martin (L Jetta, L Shuey)

Rucks: A Sandilands, D Hille (R Warnock, J Roughead)

Forwards: R O'Keefe, M Pavlich, D Giansiracusa, M LeCras, R Gray, J Ziebell, P Dangerfield (T Rockliff, J Podsiadly)

Thoughts?

Edit: Oh, I have $24200 left over too.

I think my side is ok. What does anyone else think?

Goddard, Enright, Hodge, H.Shaw, Malceski, Ladson, Hunt
(Trengove, Davis)

(Shuey, Banner)

Sandilands, Clark
(Warnock, Roughead)

Havnt seen much love for M.Clark on this thread. Is there something that im missing.

Goddard, Enright, Hodge, Waite, Hurn, Malceski, Hunt
(Trengove, Davis)

Selwood, Mitchell, Waston, Masten, Martin, Barlow/trengrove/scully
(Shuey, Bastinac)

Sandilands, Seaby
(Warnock, Lobbe)

Riewoldt, S.Johnson/ROK, Pavlich, Franklin, Zeibell/medhurst, Salter, Rockcliff

Have 100k left over which will probably end up going towards mid upgrades.

Personally think its quite a solid team but thoughts would be appreciated!!

Pretty solid team mate. It is actually very similar to mine!

I rate your backs, 4 great keeps and 3 cash cows who could even possibly become keepers.

Mids are good, but McVeigh is a big risk.

I think Clark may have his scoring impacted on by Charman and the burger, plus he has said he dosn't want to be a ruckman, maybe some coin could be freed up by changing him to tippett.

Add that coin onto your $73,900 and you will have alot of money to upgrade McVeigh, or even Buddy for Pav/O'Keefe.

Good forward line too.

This is actually one of the few teams i've looked at and really thought it was hard to beat, well done!

Here is my side

DEF: Goddard, Enright, Hodge, H.Shaw, Malceski, Ladson, Hunt (Maguire, Trengove)

MIDS: Swan (c), Bartel (vc), Selwood, Masten, Trengove, Martin (Barlow, Shuey)

RUCKS: Sandilands, Hille (Warnock, Lobbe)

FWD: Riewoldt, O'Keefe, Pavlich, Giansiricusa, Medhurst, Dangerfield, Rockliff (Dennis-Lane, Gumbleton)

$1,200

Mine looked a bit like this but I have since left Hurn and Masten for the following reasons (as much as I would like lots of Eagles in my team!!)
Hurn - Great player but I think there are alot of players 50-100k less that will score just as well, eg Ladson
Masten - Similar reason to Hurn but also with so many great rookie prospects in the midfield I ended up going gun/rookie in my midfield and a few more mid price in the fwd's and backs.

My team
Goddard, Enright, H. Shaw, Hodge, Duffield, Kennelly, Ladson
Bench; Waters, Trengove

Bartel, J. Selwood, Mitchell, Anthony, Martin, Banner
Bench; Shuey, Kayler-Thompson

Sandi, Nicnat
Bench; Lobbe, Warnock

Riewoldt, Giansiracusa, Ziebell, Ballantyne, Dangerfield, Salter, Rockliff
Bench; Wonaeamirri, Gumbleton

Players in bold are the ones I am not 100% on and will probably change before Rd. 1. Pretty happy with my back and mids but might try and fit ROK into my fwd line.

Looks like I might have 12 keepers with 3-4 possible others, but in all honesty with the injuries I suffered last year I would be ecstatic with 10 keepers from that lot!!!
Viewing Ladson, Kennelly, Wona and Waters as either late season bench players or cash cows.
$120k left for late changes.

Hey mate.

Backs are pretty solid, altough i'm unsure on whether Waite is going to be ready come round 1, I doubt he will be.

Hurn is also a waste of coin in DT. You're an Eagles fan, so you probably will favour him, but he should be touched in SC only. Spend your money elsewhere.

Mids are pretty good, no real standout lock in skipper, although Selwood could fill those shoes this year.

Seaby is a risk and I doubt he will score very well, he was a fair dud at West Coast fantasy wise too, maybe look at Hille, he is playing NAB challenge games and doing well.

Probably go with O'Keefe over Stevie J. Not sure if Salter is a definate in Ports 22 either.

No need to change anything.

Thanks for the feed back guys.
I think that masten will outscore any of the mid rookies and may become a keeper or at least improve enough for a trade to a fallen premium.
I also have enough money and a few players in mind if waite doesnt get up for rd 1.
Seaby has shown some good pre season and i hav been considering hille also.

Backs are very good but could prob downgrade duffield to someone cheaper.
I think there is a lot better players than anthony for around the same price or spend an extra 20-30k for a sewell, murphy, selwood type.
Nic Nat will be quite inconsistent i think and game time is a big worry.
I would seriously use that left over cash to upgrade your forward line.
