Rate my team Part III

Good team I reckon though pretty risky with Warnock and those 3 rookies in the forwards. Consider whether you'd be better off with another rookie in the mids - downgrade a premium (say Black) and upgrade a rookie forward.

Also with the three midprice backs coming back from injury etc you'd want to be confident your rookie backs are going to play games and score a few points.

Backs are ok but i would get rid of cornes- personaly i think he is too injury prone. you might also consider downgrading goodard, at that price its proberly a better option to have more cash to spent elsewhere

Mids-are ok again but i would get rid of watson (dont see any improvment in him) replace him with travis boak for the same price. also again i would consider not starting with Ablett for the cash go for seelwood or Pendles

Rucks- DONT get ottens (interupted preseason) go for tippet or Krezur

Fow- avoid Okeefe had a good season last year and is more likely to go down than up. Dangerfields ok so are Gia and Pav, consider changing rockcliff to hitchcook he is unlikely to play that role when the full team is back. once again consider avoiding Riewolt becuase of his huge price tag, mabey downgrade him to the likes of sylvia.

Backs - Quiet nice imo, keep an eye out for smith though in NAB...
Mids - Love the lineup of 3 keepers 1 50/50 and 2 rookies (maybe scully over tren im thinking )
Rucks - ottens might not come back to his old form due to injury worries poping up?
Forwards - Downgrade one of roo/pav/ROK and upgrade rockliff?

i would avoid scotland there are better picks for the same price. otherwise good backline

midfield is fine

Rucks are bad hille has had a injury interupted preseanson and is very risky although he may be good but risky 2nd ruck, Natanui is not a naturall DT'er and he is unlikely against to play like he did against essendon again this season.
mabey change him to Jolly if you can find the cash. or tippet or Krezur if u cant.

Foward-are good but keep an eye on medhurst for the rest of the NAB cup

Alright so I traded Clarke to Tippett and then LeCras to Medhurst and Zieball to Dangerfield. Then I traded Smith to Ladson and Swift to Watson. What do you think about the team now?

Waite - How is he going to be used? If it's up forward he could be poor. Loose down back will be great but I'd be worried about Carlton's plans. Pre Season hasn't been flash either. Same deal with Ladson. Burger and Gibson are going to get time across half back which might cut Ladson out.

I don't know enough about Markovic to really comment. I guess if you've done your homework he could be unique.

Brown and Sylvia have question marks. How much will Brown be affected by Fev? Will he see less of the ball or could he perhaps play in the middle like the old days? Sylvia Will get alot of attention now. He and Davey will get the tags and we don't know how Sylvia will react. Will he be like Ablett and Dal Santo (2009) or will he be like Didak last year and Dal Santo (2008)???

Don't think you'll see much of Shaun Burgoyne in the backline this year and TBH no one really knows how Gibson will be used in the backline. You could well be right about Gibson, but i'm still expecting Ladson to put on some cash quickly.

Markovic used to be a Hawthorn rookie. He was delisted and ended up being a pretty good player at Box Hill. Had pretty bad ankle injuries over the years and suspected he would never be able to handle 'AFL' level because of his ongoing foot issues. I wouldn't pick him even if Barry Hall got injured.

I'm not much of an expert but i wouldn't have Schoenmakers. He could well play every game if thats what your after but he's unlikely to score well. Ladson will score better for a similar price.

Interestign team. You have lots of potential keepers but lack the real premiums so you need to be sure of those lower ranked possible keepers. The ones I'd be more concerned about would be: Mackie, Mcdonald, Mcveigh. I would consider dowgradinh one or two of your lower end premiums to mid pricers and upgrade one or two premiums. Would be a really strong team if those lower end premiums stepped up.
