Thoughts guys?

Not much critisism required...

5 keepers in your backline look solid with the mix of kennelly and waters as your cheapies looks to be a popular format around here.

The midfield is nice and you've got 3 genuine captin choice which works for me.

Not totaly convinced by NicNat as by the looks of it he may need to be upgraded later in the year. It is also very risky going with tippett as your number 1 ruckman.

My only issue with your forward line is rockliff starting. What is your plan if he gets dropped round 2 or 3? Gumbi is a risk and might not provide cover needed if he gets injured. Hitchcock then must be a permanent fixture in your team...

I know its unlikly but having said that its very realistic... I would be downgrading a backline gun and moving rockliff to your bench...

Hopefully Rockliff plays more than 1 game. He's in great form right now and averaging 80+ each game. Gumbi had a great game against Richmond and will probably start if not i'll change to someone who will and i'm confident Hitchcock will play a few games at the start to get his value up then i'll probably change him also.

Backline is solid except swap Gilham for Harbrow he will rip it up this year. If possible

Midfield is similar strategy to mine 3 guns 1 mid price 2 rookies no change needed.

Ruck: Swap Lobbe for Skipper and Roughead for Stanley both Better options than your current combo.

Forwards your weakest are IMO Schineder is not good value at his price downgrade to Gray or Tippett to get some mula also Tippett is a good ruck back up. Westoff only works if he plays ruck so swap him for Ziebell for a couple grand more and Also quite a risk playing Rockliff but could work for you.

But that can backfire easily.

In bold are the players you shouldn't have. Goodes you can but in the forwards and Walker you can but in the rucks. Greenwood and Ladson are also vey questionable.

Thanks - as an Eagles fan do you think having JK is questionable? I like the kid and wish the Blues still had him, but do you think he's worthwhile as a dreamteamer? Not many around here seem to have him...

Also my forwards contain alot of the same sought of player, any guys that could fill those spots better. Walker is the big risk, but everyone seems to have Danger, so I've gone for some variety.

Also is Gram a good bet, or overpriced. Ablett kills the salary, but he's usually my walk up captain.

Sandi is def worth keeping, imo u want a premium ruck (sandi or clark...thats what im deciding)
Ppl have gone danger due to midfield work - hence he might be a better choice....though unique can pay some nice dividends
Gram is fine...I have gone duffield as i think gram is a tad over priced and he isnt
Bartel over Ablett
As u will see i have harbrow as well and he is iffy but solid..and in a great team

TBH I wouldn't pick him. Just too much of a risk for my liking. He should improve this year but will he improve that much to be a keeper? I'm not sure.

Do you expect people to tell you to down-grade your 4th mid because you're too top heavy ? And if they did what would you tell them ?

Rethink your bench players and Akermanis/Baker, also Charman is injured and Vince is just returning from injury (better value players there at the same price IMO)

Harbrow or gilbee? or should i move goddard to the backline and bring in masten or ball into the mids? the latter would mean that i would lose a player who can play mid and back. gettign masten will free up a lot of cash.

Midfield needs more consistent players. Upgrade Trengrove and downgrade Johnson or Rok. The rest is good but you should know more about Farmer than i do.

Ablett Swan & Mitchell are all quite reliable, well at least I think they are.

As for the 5 midfield rookies well its anyones guess as to which ones will be reliable and which ones won't. I'd suggest that everyone agrees that Martin will be, Trengove should be, while Barlow and Banner have shown good signs that they could provide a decent injection of cash early on that would allow me to upgrade them to better players sooner rather than later. Bastinac is my cheap option that should provide cover and will be teamed up with one of the others when its time to upgrade.

As for Farmer by all reports he will get a spot in the starting lineup for round 1 and should play plenty of games for a Tigers side going through major changes and unlike most of the other cheap options he doesn't have injury queries hanging over his head.
