I thought yesterday gave a clear indication where alot of our players are @;

Judd - all time champion. But that was already known

Murphy - not sure why this guy gets criticized so much; hard ball gets, running goals - complete package

Yarran - masterstoke to the HBF; love to watch players who run & carry

Gibbs - he is ok; but not great. Kicks the ball to quickly rather than steadying to find a target.

Scotland - love his one touch pick ups when others fumble. Underated.

Waite - presents well. Takes some marks; should be more consistent though.

Garlett - our most dangerous forward and by a fair margin.

Warnock - improving every game. Crucial to our super talented midfield.

Jamison, Laidler, Duigan, Russell - forming a solid unit down back with Yarran providing the run.

Simpson - love players prepared to run and carry. 100 metre player.

White - should be ok. Needs more games.

Curnow - great pick up; just needs to keep his feet.

Robinson - improving

Walker - dont mind the idea of his as a substitute. His pace could be useful late in the game.

Carrazzo - tries hard but his disposal is terrible. Needs to be turned over.

Collins - it is going to take more than one pre-season to get the Richmond out of him.

Hampson - rucked ok but cant mark or kick. Kruezer.

Betts - while others are improving he is going backwards

Hendo - acknowledge it was his first game back but surely is it not too much for him to at least compete for the mark and not spectate.

I thought yesterday gave a clear indication where alot of our players are @;

Judd - all time champion. But that was already known Star, but he has been sloppy this year. If only other players had his tenacity and workrate we would win the flag.

Murphy - not sure why this guy gets criticized so much; hard ball gets, running goals - complete package 2nd in charge, maybe it's his size, but need a bit more tenacity.

Yarran - masterstoke to the HBF; love to watch players who run & carry we need another like him in defence.

Gibbs - he is ok; but not great. Kicks the ball to quickly rather than steadying to find a target. need to impact more on scorebaord than on stats.

Scotland - love his one touch pick ups when others fumble. Underated.work horse, but i worry what will happen we he retires, we need a similar type player and skilled too.

Waite - presents well. Takes some marks; should be more consistent though.our only lead-up player up forward, but yes, need to pressure teams more on scoreboard.

Garlett - our most dangerous forward and by a fair margin.star, but hopefully he doesn't fade. Wonderful skills that only the Indigenous Brothers are blessed with, and that Carlotn hadn't had for way to long. The soul of the team.

Warnock - improving every game. Crucial to our super talented midfield. Warnock had kept us competitive this year.

Jamison, Laidler, Duigan, Russell - forming a solid unit down back with Yarran providing the run. Not.Quite.Sure. Will only know when we play teams like Hawthorn and Shitney, coz they can crumble easily and their structure is 100% right. Yarran is the most skilled, these guys need to be drilled harder.

Simpson - love players prepared to run and carry. 100 metre player. Not a star, but 100% effort all the time

White - should be ok. Needs more games. Needs skills to improve

Curnow - great pick up; just needs to keep his feet. Hopefully not another Joseph/McClean type 'meh. But impressive so far.

Robinson - improving shouldn't he be 'improved'?

Walker - dont mind the idea of his as a substitute. His pace could be useful late in the game. Bum. Should have traded him when he had currency. Needs to improve his workrate 100% the next few weeks or he's just another Camporele.

Carrazzo - tries hard but his disposal is terrible. Needs to be turned over. He is what he is, but who can replace him? A receiver.

Collins - it is going to take more than one pre-season to get the Richmond out of him. Yeah look like we got a Richmond nuff-nuff.

Hampson - rucked ok but cant mark or kick. Kruezer. Pussy wipped.

Betts - while others are improving he is going backwards The new Neon Leon a flash in the pants. Disappointed with Eddie so far this year. He did nothing yesterday as well. If he kicked at least 2 goals we would have won.

Hendo - acknowledge it was his first game back but surely is it not too much for him to at least compete for the mark and not spectate. We all thought he was the new Josh Kennedy but he's just the new Adrian DeLuca

My three cents worth.

well written to both of the above.

Everytime we do one of these exercises I think you need alternatives rather than just bagging players.

For the record I would look at bringing in either Lucas or Armfield for Collins.

Obviously Kruezer comes in for Hampson once fit.

Also I was also impressed with Ellard late last year; maybe for Carrazzo who disposal is becoming costly @ times.

Hendo needs to make more of effort @ times rather than just watch. But would persist with him.

Betts needs a rocket but not sure who could replace him.

Gibbs is becoming a worry. As others are saying he is ok but not great.

Judd - all time champion. But that was already known -TOTALLY AGREE.

Murphy - not sure why this guy gets criticized so much; hard ball gets, running goals - complete package - GUN.

Yarran - masterstoke to the HBF; love to watch players who run & carry - LOVE HIM. NEXT ANDREW MCLOED

Gibbs - he is ok; but not great. Kicks the ball to quickly rather than steadying to find a target - GOT SO MUCH TALENT BUT STILL NEEDS TO PROVE HIMSELF A STAR OF THE GAME.

Scotland - love his one touch pick ups when others fumble. Underated - ONE OF OUR BEST RECRUITS LAST 5+ YEARS. AWESOME

Waite - presents well. Takes some marks; should be more consistent though. - VERY GOOD PLAYER. NEEDS TO BE MORE CONSISTENT TO BECOME A GUN.

Garlett - our most dangerous forward and by a fair margin. - CAN BE A GUN IN A COUPLE OF YEARS.

Warnock - improving every game. Crucial to our super talented midfield. - GOING ALONG WELL. VERY IMPORTANT TO OUR CLUB.

Jamison, Laidler, Duigan, Russell - forming a solid unit down back with Yarran providing the run. - RUSSELL STRUGGLING BIG TIME THIS YEAR. OTHERS HAVE DONE OK.

Simpson - love players prepared to run and carry. 100 metre player. - ALWAYS DONE HIS JOB WEEK IN WEEK OUT. HE JUST LOVES PLAYING FOOTY

White - should be ok. Needs more games. - SHOULD BE A 3RD OR 4TH DEFENDER. WATSON & BOWER AHEAD OF HIM.

Curnow - great pick up; just needs to keep his feet. - AWESOME RECRUIT.HAS THE SMARTS AND WILL GET BETTER WITH MORE EXPERIENCE.

Robinson - improving - AGREE

Walker - dont mind the idea of his as a substitute. His pace could be useful late in the game -PERSONALLY SHOULD BE A PERMANENT FORWARD. OFFERS SOMETHING DIFFERENT

Carrazzo - tries hard but his disposal is terrible. Needs to be turned over. - HE NEEDS TO BE A RUN WITH PLAYER. ASSIGN HIM THAT ROLE AND HE WILL BE OK.

Collins - it is going to take more than one pre-season to get the Richmond out of him - UN FIT AND DOWN ON CONFIDENCE. THIS KID HAS SO MUCH TALENT AND BY YEARS END HE WILL BECOME A IMPORTANT PLAYER . JUST NEEDS A FEW WEEKS IN THE TWO'S TO REGAIN HIS TOUCH AND CONFIDENCE.

Hampson - rucked ok but cant mark or kick. Kruezer. - DUD!! OUT ASAP

Betts - while others are improving he is going backwards - DOWN AT THE MOMENT. NEEDS TO REALLY STEP UP OTHERWISE HE WILL GET DROPPED.

Hendo - acknowledge it was his first game back but surely is it not too much for him to at least compete for the mark and not spectate - 1ST GAME BACK AND YOU CAN TELL NOT MATCH FIT AND CONFIDENCE LOW. SHOULDNT HAVE BEEN PLAYED IN A BIG GAME. WILL GET BETTER AND HOPE THEY DONT DROP HIM.

There were 2 champions on the field yesterday. One used the support of his team-mates to marshall the backline and basically get his team the 2 points. He was BOG.

The other was let down by some highly rated players around him and probably considers the game a loss or at least a massively missed opportunity. He wasn't BOG.

This exactly left up to a few to carry the rest of the team!

Dont forget Duigen. He looks like a very good pick up. Can only improve and from what I have seen looks a slower version of Jamison but that ain't all bad. Like him.

imo henderson should be played at chb until he finds some fitness and confidence. he would have to chase the oppositions`chf, and he played most of his games for brisbane in the backline anyway. carlton could then use kreuzer at chf when he is fit, and put o`hailpin up forward when he is ready, because at least he provides a contest and brings the ball to ground for the little blokes.:)

I thought yesterday gave a clear indication where alot of our players are @;

Curnow - great pick up; just needs to keep his feet.
Don't know if it's just me, this relates to most out on the ground, it happened alot against colliewobbles and charter aireoplans, Juddy when mentally fatigued never thinks his beaten, keeps his feet and normally results being productive. Others lose their feet to often

Russell-Don't feel as safe with the ball in his hands as I was last year.

Havnt seen many clangers or problems with Russells disposal this year. The one difference is defensivly he hasnt been as tight/strong. I will give him some slack as he barely had a preseason and we saw with murphy last year it effects your game so much these days without a preseason.

People being harsh on hendo. First game back, looked terrible, but also looked underdone. I dont think he will hit his straps till 2nd half of the year. Should keep him in and get hime games. He will be a good player for us. Again has had no preseason.

White was fantastic against essendon, he smashed hurley. Agree he is 3rd tall when bower comes back (hopefully next week)

Been disappointed with Hampson, has had this time to stake a claim and has failed. Ruck work has been pretty good but offers little/nothing around the ground.
