Bucket list 6.5/10.

Typical tear jerker with not the best performances by two great actors. It seemed like the producers got the best ingredients (actors, emotional plot devices, editing, direction and production where all great), and just threw them together and expected to make a great cake. Watchable but no classic.

Midnight Run.

Looks bad but wasn't me.

The offending mod has a point though, aside from the Bucket List being ignored, he didn't tackle Mr Brooks either. Went all the way back to The Mist and started again.

Not a lot of point to the theme of the thread if you go back in the thread and pick and choose which ones you want to comment on and ignore the last one presented.
Fair enough, I agree, but I think in these cases you should just build a bridge and get over it. Not worth deleting posts for.

Oh, and I never suspected you did it at all.

Carry on folks.:)

Geez, that takes me down memory lane. It was the movie of the week every 3 months, the TV used to punish this movie. I'm surprised it wasn't burnt into the heads of their VCR's.

Thoroughly enjoyable, light plot. The scene where Robert Redford has to very very slowly get out of the room as quickly as possible is one of my favourite all time scenes.

7.5/10

An Arnie Classic. Probably the one that got him started in that sense of a movie.

How many jokes can you make out of a dead guy? Heaps!

Bloody funny movie at the time and still works.

Strangely this was an intriguing movie, really it was. Intriguing because i am not sure why i liked it. I watched it on a flight back from LA and once i started watching it, i could not stop. Plenty of other movies to watch or even sleep but i liked it. It wasn’t an overly good movie or has a brilliant story line but somehow it captivated my imagination. Maybe it was the baseball, who knows but i usually hate these sorts of love story chick flicks but it was engrossing.

6.5 Out of 10.

I saw the guy it was based on when I was in France (although they say it wasn't what the movie was about) so I took some interest in it. Was probably not in the right mood when I saw it but I will watch it again soon.

Didn't walk away from the cinemas that happy/unhappy.

6.5/10 for me...

O Brother Where Art Thou?

Hated it, loathed it, and didn’t finish it. i tried watching the first 30 mins and said this was crap and turned it off. Never watch it again. CRAP.

'Mississippi Burning'

Mississippi Burning

Parker recreates the hate-and-fear-filled atmosphere in that small Southern town. As a history lesson, however, it's laughable: the FBI were far from heroes to civil rights activists, and insofar as the struggle succeeded, it was because American blacks took their own destiny in hand, not because they were rescued by paternalistic white authority figures. Maybe a case of rewhiting history to a degree.

5/10

Crossroads

Would have been nice if you left it to someone that had actually watched it.

I did watch it and didn’t like it, hence why i gave it a poor rating. In my opinion 30 mins is apt enough to judge something on.

So you have never walked out early on a movie?

Classic serial killer movie. When this came out I went and saw it because of David Duchovny not Brad Pitt. It also has Juliette Lewis's **** in it, which probably bumps the ranking a notch. **** always makes a movie better. The movie was good too.

6.5/10
Being John Malkovich

I really enjoyed this movie especially Cameron Diaz's performance. I didn't even realise it was her until about 40 minutes in. Malkovich is brilliant as he is in everything.

I give it a 7.5/10
