Richmond would give up a lot for Dempsey and Holmes …I still have hopes for Clarky he just needs more game time and Bruhn has been very solid even last year he was good
Oh absolutely, more just pointing out how good Max is and how poor their situation is.

We're miles ahead, and that was the case even before tonight's showing.

'I just don't see it with Ollie Dempsey'

...

Yeah maybe people will see it now, hey?
To be fair as a long time Ollie lover I was worried with his first 3-4 possessions and waiting for the haters. He was very very nervous to start.

But the poise to kick straight when the team needs you know a a great sign. On top of his undoubted talent.

The other thing at the ground you notice is that he creates space

All the Jhye Clark haters are going to be disappointed his attack on the ball and player tonight has been fantastic. Working really well as a duo with Bruhn.
He will be fine the effort and endurance is there , I’m still not expecting much from him this year but that’s not a knock on him

He will be another Dempsey soon enough

Surely they need to tighten up on dempsey now so hopefully that opens it up for the other Ollie and close to kick a few in second half.

We do have a potent forward line. Just haven’t quite got that connection from mids right yet. It will come

And now Cameron blocked by Wilke not looking at th ball.

Geexz the umps are still having xmas lunch.

GO Catters

Could be his role maybe? Or still figuring out his place around Hawkins and Jezza.
But I agree, he's a very good lead up forward, not so good sitting back and waiting though.

I think it's more the latter and trying to work out his role up forward

We know Jezza will lead at the ball, work up & down the ground etc

Hawkins occasionally leads at the ball, but is also good in contested/wrestling situation

I'm not sure the wrestling situation is Henry's go, and unsure if the Rohan style of play of coming from no where & hitting the pack hard in a contested mark setting

We've seen Henry have an ability to genuinely fly for marks, but not sure if he's defaulting to that as his go to option which is why he's staying deep. He may just need to switch things up if what he's been trying hasn't been working - either way, I'm going the experienced guys around him are offering words of encouragement until it all clicks

It could be a potent forward line, but the delivery neuters it.

A long outstanding problem.
