I am starting to feel the same way.

We have the better list / better kids but just got mauled on game day when it mattered. I am not even worried about the positives and i am lost concerning the direction we are heading currently.

If we sack Bolts tomorrow i would not be shocked and who at this moment in time is to say it would be the wrong decision based on current results and we were lucky not to lose that game by 8+ goals.

I am just struggling to find anything to hang on to positive wise sadly. Patty Cripps i am so sorry you have to put up with this crap on a weekly basis and do we even employ skills coaches?

I've been a Bolton believer but today has really dented that severely...to the point where i wouldn't really care if we did change coach.

As you say we had far more talent out there today, plus an older and experienced team.
But structures and gameplan looked poor which is on Bolton.

We've got the talent on our list to do far better than this and certainly beat this St Kilda team.

What drives me crazy is that Harry is constantly playing too far up the ground and Charlie too deep and vice versa. There’s zero connection and the Gov is always one marking contest away from an injury.

Chance for Paddy to show what he’s got, not that anyone would want to play in that forward line.

Players have no idea how to move the ball, our exit strategy out of defence is atrocious, our kicking inside 50 is woeful, our ability to handball in tight to retain possession is ridiculous, our tackling is farcical, our desire is questionable bar a few.

This is bad and something needs to change in the coaching structure. We need assistants who are tactically sound and perhaps a head coach who can inspire confidence and commitment in the players.

Forget about using the supposed massive war chest on a so so mature player, throw it at Clarkson. I know there are some old timers here that still hate him, but hate away, as long he can get the best out of our players and come up with an AFL standard game plan and reinstall some belief in the supporters. Start of the season, was filled with such hope that we would show steady improvement, can't see it now. Bolts had always had my support, but it looks like he may not actually be up to it. I am really struggling to watch Carlton at the moment, so for the first time in decades I'm not, absolutely breaks my heart.

How can you pick and choose when it's a factor then?

I don’t know the stats but only Cripps & Walsh are winning enough ball. Live it looks like AFL v Under 18s around the ball. Times we have Fisher Dow & Gibbons on ball. Shit down Cripps and we are stuffed.
