Not entirely useless perhaps. But his lack of confidence is unfuriating. My diagnosis is that he's been worked out as completely one-sided and his opponents make him turn on his left where he has nothing and so his confidence when he has the ball has disappeared.

Scratch that. I was right initially. Complete lack of understanding of the situation. What a cowardly play to sit on the ball at that stage of the game.
