He can whiff on it as often as he likes for all I care, no point winning palm downs when the opposition is reading them like they have been lately either, it's more the sign of intent that I think it represents that I enjoy about it. I'd be for him trying to grab it out of the air and hack kick it forward at the opening bounce also.

I get what you’re saying, but would still prefer that he make healthy contact.

Also a fan of the catch and kick.

I really like Weid and wanted him to make it, got all the tools , but the evidence against him has got to the point now where it can't be ignored.

Cash out now while he still has trade value for a proven KPF at AFL level.
This is where I'm at. Wanted him to succeed so bad and thought my faith would be vindicated after his early VFL form, but he disappointed.

He has all the tools, just lacks to will to consistently hold the marks and kick goals. It's really his goal kicking that has let him down the most. You don't worry about Brown kicking for goal and that makes a big difference on the amount of attention a player gets from oppo defence.

That handball to (was it Petracca?) for that goal where he got the ball above his head and just waited a millisecond to hand it to his advantage was beautiful
Plus he's probably leading our club in Joe the Gooses this year 😂

I know G Healy doesn’t have many fans here but after the game he was talking about the intensity that MFC brought to the game and that was the difference. Maybe obvious I know but then Cam Mooney followed up talking about what it’s like playing forward and how important the intensity and Mids delivery is to forward line success. This stuff is spoken about often here , but another point might be that in Finals say your intensity is off a bit and delivery inside 50 is not great, it’s nice to have an X factor in the forward line who can pull something out of his arse to help win a game. We might really need that X factor in Finals this year eg. Kozzy

He has had a very good year but his games against Port and Sydney are clearly his best two IMO.

Last week he was epic, if not for his finishing. Thought he was better last week than this week all things considered.

If not for his finishing, correct. He kicks straight we win. I'll settle to agree the Sydney game was absolutely his best of the season, literally dragged us across the line.

Hard to blame the bloke for having an off week when we've got him roaming far and wide for kicks down the line and marking everything then expecting him to double back and convert goals also.

The 94 points CD gave him against Sydney does seem criminally underrated I must admit.

I'd probably go with Sydney, GWS and the Tigers as his best three.
The mark he took to win the game is seriously underrated.

Worth noting TMac has played probably his two best games for the year with Brown in the side.
Be careful saying things like this around these parts. Next you’ll be telling us that Fritsch has also found it easier with BBB in the side 😡

Yeah cause Fritsch and Tmac have been crap in all their other games 😂
No one said that they have. I really don’t understand your need to be so aggressively defensive when people aren’t even disagreeing with you, and just want to believe the side can do well. It literally hurts no one except your feelings apparently
