Sorry, apart from 7 tackles Banfield did nothing yesterday. If you are looking at Peel yesterday then all of Sturt, NOD, Colyer, Wilson and Wagner would be well ahead of Banfield, and arguably even the MSD rookie Stanley could be called up given how well he played. If Banfield is recalled after that effort in Peel, and none of the others listed are, it confirms once and for all the obsessive favouritism entrenched in Freo selection since mid last season.

See above. Plenty to bring in to give underperforming players a spell, although I'd argue young MJ is hardly first on the list to be dropped. He needs more games and better coaching, not dropping.
I watched Peel and none of them were AFL ready

I'm not too bothered by the midfield but this defensive structure is disgusting, these are hardened and experienced players. Rudderless and leaderless, A Pearce is not a captain's arseh*le.

And Cox should've gone back to Adelaide so we could've kept Logue. At least he had some mongrel.

Look...

Yeah, we shouldn't be this shite, but we're still too young and immature to be flag contenders. Our admin overstretched on stating the ambition timeline.

The players need time to harden their bods. Carlton's big mids are just exacerbating the obvious.

No one needs to be sacked.
Who said anything about flag contenders?
We are going to finish 15th. Bottom 4.
There will be 14 better teams than us in an 18 team league with two of the worst sides of all time in it (one of which beat us).
It’s an abomination of a season and calling it anything else would be deluded

I used to think the whole "accepting mediocrity" noise was mostly just business speak and succesful club supporter w***ery. Between this and "I'd like to see us make finals" I'm starting to think they might be right*

(*I don't really. It is all self congratulatory bullshit to make people believe they are passively, in part, responsible for the success of their football club despite having no influence whatsoever but it is hand/responsibility waving nonsense like these posts that are aggravating and ones we really, truly hope aren't pervasive inside the club lest it truly be anchored to mediocrity)
