Agree completely. Obvious Worsfold has a plan but surely Smith has so much more value as a sub. What happens if Ballantyne is beating everyone easy ? We can't waste the sub in the second quarter.
Playing McGinnity as a sub is really stupid. He's in the team for his nullifying abilities for crying out loud. Who's got the motor to play on Ballantyne now?

Maybe Woosh is hoping we put the game out of reach by the 3rd. Bring McGinnity on to lock the game down and release Smith in the middle.

MacGinnity as the sub is ****ing terrible decision. Surely his only role for us is as a tagger. Strange decision. Maybe Woosha has got into the medicine cabinet. Wonder if Kerr will be a late in.

Surprised by sub decision, but not too worried. He can come on and tag the hell out of a small forward or even a mid. He's the 22nd best player in the team.

Don't remember that game. Yes he is talented, but people making him out to be unstoppable. It's a weird sub, but i'm pretty confident we can contain him.
Woosha must have some good reasoning for choosing him as a sub..

The only role macginnity plays well is as a tagger. Why the **** would you bring a tagger on as a sub?
Looking at the weather radar though, there are light showers around. wouldnt be surprised to see subi get some during the game
Well, I've been posting here for ages and I'm sure I have a greater IQ than Sumich....
But seriously, I think everyone is aware that the coaches would have a far better understanding of the game than us. That doesn't void our right to express opinions on various matters though.
I'm crossing my fingers that the McGinnity sub is either a master stroke or doesn't make any difference.
I can actually imagine a fresh McGinnity coming in at 3/4 time and quelling whoever is getting away from us but it's weird having a defensive player as a sub when they've usually been more offensive.
