Also, Walters isn't great anymore and hasn't been for a while, but he's not as bad as this board makes him out to be. Most tackles of all our forwards and his one percenters for pressure always go unnoticed
It’s not his fault our midfield think he’s 194cm either. The ball has to be in front of him or he needs to snag one below the feet of the talls. We too often expect him to take a contested mark

What's going on Swaggy?
Champion data should start recording dropped marks, he had 8 or 9 last week and 4-5 tonight.
Tabs dropped a few as well again.

What did we think of Acres game?
Acres doesn't seem like a natural footballer. Seems like an athlete playing football. Great runner, benches more than Logie bear, 190cm+

Couldn't hit a lead up player to save his life, but plays his role to his limitations.

That he was ok. In the backline we have Pearce to do Pearce things, midfield Acres to do Acres things and up forward we have tabs to be tabs.

Love all three of them but with memberships at 50k collectively have probably taken 100k years off our lives

yeah. And Schultz has been playing on players twice his height and size in the past two weeks

Young players got some great pressure experience out of that one

Freddy had great game sense there good sign

Walker and Chappy were good after being poor last week.

Henry really turned up first half

2 points is better than 0 points

Our defence is incredible, Cyrogene them once we’ve won a flag and map their DNA

We weren’t bombing it long and we looked for the corridor a lot more . Didn’t always pay off but better footy

-
Our forward line is concerning, I can’t see how the hell we get through finals with that

Tbone - JFC take a few steps back please. FMD

Does Mundy do enough to stay in ? - it’s 50/50 but I still yes

Both sides blew multiple chances to win the game so a fitting result.

Our younger players were generally decent. Tabs is an enigma and one of the most frustrating players to ever play for Freo.

The defence was good most of the night but Ryan was sloppy with his disposals a number of times. Young is in the top tier of backmen in the AFL.

Louge was asked to be a Swiss army knife and although he gave everything his best shot he had a nearly night at best.

Liam Henry has a very long way to go unfortunately.

We will gain some valuable finals experience this season and be better for it going forward in the next few seasons.

The s**t you talk, honestly. Every week for years you bag Tabs yet you think you're above everyone for doing the same thing to other players. Spare us

We were easily beaten for 3 quarters, Richmond were there own worse enemy. Balta could've won it for them and Cumberland should've won it. No way should we have won, we're extremely lucky

Easily beaten for three quarters?

If that was true then no way the stats at the end of the game would be so even.

Which stat did we get snashed in or even lose while we were being easily beaten for three quarters of the game?

It'd be interesting to see what giving him a proper chop-out with Meek would do. Longer stints forward might help him regain a bit of confidence by clunking a few marks.

Obviously that slows us up and probably exacerbates the ground ball issues others have pointed out but if Lobb is unavailable next week it's something that should at least be considered. We looked slick against Brissy with a Darcy/Meek combination.

You seriously think it was an even game for three quarters?.....wow

Sure - marks inside 50, tackles, one percenters, intercepts, turnovers

Was 5 enough?

We beat them in most stats

Both teams had equal dumbness at both ends

Was a fitting finish really

He's just so slow. Two passages of play that could have resulted in a scoring shot end in an abrupt hold up because he's too slow to release the ball and keep it moving.
