Extremely well said ST.Joyce is well on the way to becoming one of those guys that plays 200 games,, wins his matchup every week, is always in the first 10 picked, never wins an award, will get 4 Brownlow votes max in his career and we'll all be devastated when he retires
Got a fair bit of toe too. I remember he tested well in almost everything at the state combine.Extremely well said ST.
His development has been remarkable to be honest. Testament to him and our staff. He came to us with nothing but some okay skills. He's now probably the best kick we have on both feet (honestly don't know if he's right or left footed). He's tough, hard, shrugs tackles and takes the game on. Reads the play extremely well.
Does he? Did he? I can't recall that. I'm not sure he's got a whole bunch of raw speed to him, but he looks a bit quicker than he is because of superior placement and footy IQ.Got a fair bit of toe too. I remember he tested well in almost everything at the state combine.
Yeah I am sure of it. He was top 2 in most categories. I'll find it when I have some time.Does he? Did he? I can't recall that. I'm not sure he's got a whole bunch of raw speed to him, but he looks a bit quicker than he is because of superior placement and footy IQ.
Corked Quad from last week, so had a week off. Unsure if he comes straight back in tbh, hard to drop anyone from that team after we performed like that, perhaps if Lyons get suspended he may find his way back in, we will see.
I just love this kid right from day one and he just gets better and better, he is gold standard by foot EVERY time and now starting to stand up to the opposition seems to really stay calm under the pump and chooses well, super happy for the young manJoyce is well on the way to becoming one of those guys that plays 200 games,, wins his matchup every week, is always in the first 10 picked, never wins an award, will get 4 Brownlow votes max in his career and we'll all be devastated when he retires
he does plenty but you dont see him much must be covered by opposition bodiesI also really liked Lyons on the weekend. Team high 18 contested possessions is doing exactly what we recruited him for. Hard inside and getting it out. Hope he keeps it up!
im missing the north game because my best friends birthday party is onI've known guys to miss their own wedding for a game of footy, don't be a pussy!
You're all amateur's.. when planning our wedding. Can't have it during football season as I'd miss games. Can't have during finals due to what if we made it.. But summer is cricket season. There is one guarantee; there will be Australia day cricket on the 26th.. Saturday is the 25th. Bang date picked. Then me, wife and whole bridal party head to Adelaide oval next day and get smashed.. It's all about priorities.im missing the north game because my best friends birthday party is on
Been reading the Hawks board, with much pleasure I may add and have decided that they are so privileged that that have become delusional.
Point 1, they have accepted they need a rebuild but fully expect it will happen ( no delusion there) and they will be challenging again in 2-3 years ( off with the fairies) they sold the farm to get JOM and have no picks next year (1st pick will be GWS 2nd rounder, likely to be 35-6) and they have nothing to trade that will ge t them a top 10 pick. Some may say they will buy in talent but Who will want to go and collect a couple of spoons?
Point 2, they are assuming past success guarantees future success and not only life in general but the AFL equalisation policy will make this impossible. I think the more likely outcome is the club may be in for a Richmond type 40 years in the desert type run..........delicious.
Point 3, Hawks fans have been so spoilt that a prelonged bad spell will see many fans drop off as we saw in the mid nineties after their last era of prolonged success that very well may lead to the type of collapse that had them merging with Melbourne.
Point 4 they have absolutely no respect for our club and as such I look forward to seeing the above come to fruition
plus they have had a massive brain drain of talent in management and footy department that Clarkson built and now the rest of the clubs have plunderedBeen reading the Hawks board, with much pleasure I may add and have decided that they are so privileged that that have become delusional.

A 100 point win would of been niceAnd one of them mentioned umpire bias!!!Up to 3/4 time they were actually ahead on the free count despite us being dominant everywhere!!!!!
If it hadn't been for those 2 dodgy free-goals to Rioli and Roughead the scoreboard would have been even more woeful for them
