I feel bad that this is the case, but I almost wanted GWS to keep pressing and thrash us harder in the hope Mick would be guaranteed to go.

Don't get me wrong, I know he's not the complete problem, just part of it I feel, but we need to start somewhere. And yes the board too... but can't see a bunch of power hungry, rich leeches going anywhere.

On the whole we're just a cluster**** or a perfect storm of epic fail. We have so many issues ATM.

The players obviously do not respect MM or his crap game plan to the point that they didn't try to execute any game plan today. To build another side under the socialist rules of the AFL will take the best part of 8-10 years. A 70yo MM is not the answer, he's already past his use by date.

If MM stays or an internal caretaker is appointed the players will not bother trying. The only solution is to appoint a long term coach this week. Other clubs are not going to stand in the way of an assistant who is appointed to a 3 year contract.

What is wrong with you, Yarran looked like the only one with passion out there today.

He was an angry man wanting to take on there whole team at some point or another, angry and frustrated about the lack of effort shown by his team mates so wanted to take it out on the opposition.

If only the rest of the team showed the passion that Yarran showed today, we might have actually had 22 players on the field that cared whether they lost or won.
I have been begging for some passion from the team for the longest time now, and Yarran was the only one today that I could see any passion from.

I was disappointed that Graham wasn't played today, but supporters booing the team will hardly build their confidence or create a unity for them to want to remain at the club. Probably not much benefit in playing the kids at the moment.

he hasnt played many games and with a couple of decent defenders around him and him playing the third tall defender, I would expect him to excel in a couple of years. But throwing the poor kid into the deepend without a lifevest is something that Carlton is good at!

Yeah we are definitely light years away. I was pleased in a sense that we have stopped over-rating ourselves recently and have taken action to address some of the many deficiencies in the way we operate. There seems to be the finger of blame in many directions. for me it was recruiting and list management. For others it's Bruce. for others it's MM. For others it's the board. It's pretty clear that we have multiple issues, and no visible light at the end of the tunnel. I like what Trigg has done, MLo is a little too quiet for mine, the board still remains largely unknown to me in terms of input. You'll get your wish for a different coach no doubt, though personally I feel our list is exactly where it belongs in terms of talent.

Doro, I haven't had a sack coach wish since Pagan. I actually don't mind Mick but it's not working. I feel that he has played favourites with some players, has forced others out that in hindsight we probably shouldn't, and has not played to our strengths. If players can't follow directions, then he has to be responsible for what we do about that.

Making him beyond criticism is a stupid as saying we are still a great club because we have 16 Cups in the Foyer. If I had my choice I'd take those cups and put them in a dark cellar where nobody can see them. They are holding us back.

We are shit from top to bottom and the sooner people get angry about it and tip out the rabble running the show, the sooner we can recover.

Tell me what good is it keeping 30 year old has-beens, club rejects, list cloggers and mature-aged draft picks that aren't going to last long?

Here is the reality check, this list is not going to get us anywhere. If you think otherwise, THAN YOU ARE NUTS! It's common sense.

Where is the club going to get the money to pay out all their contracts? Who is going to trade us for them?

I'm not saying that the list is going to get us anywhere... with the current coaching setup. But get in some new coaches and lets see what happens!

Kernahan didn't have the only vote on personnel we got in. He put his hand up when nobody else did. He doesn't affect game plans or player performance either. It's a stretch to make him the scapegoat.

Hey guys, I don't want to intrude, but as a St Kilda fan I know exactly how you feel right now.

The last few years have been shit for us. We had an ancient list, absolute shit recruiting/drafting, and a bad coach in Scott Watters.
After being smashed every other week, you really question whether the club should even be playing at AFL level. It looks like there is no way out.
But times like this are when you must stick by your club. You all are the heart and soul of this organisation, and they need you the most right now.
When the board comes to their senses, and Malthouse and his crew are shown the door, you can begin to recruit staff that will start the rebuild. A few years in the draft will do a world of good, and while wins will be few and far between for a long while, the pain will be worth it in the end.

I do not have any love for Carlton, but I hate to see supporters lose faith like many Saints fans did a few years back. I strongly believe that the week MM is fired will be rock-bottom, because although results on paper may be worse for a time after that, it is only up from there.
