Yep and with us no Rich, Merrett, Golby & Maguire.... and on your chumps scale.. Sydney had no Shaw, Tippett, LRT or Rohan..

Im just saying Carlton had 3 guns out. You didn't. Cop it. You are far behind them. This isnt about Collingwood. It's about a disappointing Brisbane.

I'd pick him as a mid, but he thinks he's a forward. McGrath is a better forward.
Gotta find place for Paperone too.... Fits the game plan. Big and can run.
more serious....
out: Lisle, Michael, Green, ?, ?
in: Karnezis, Paperone, Clark/Maguire, Golby, Longer
definitely McGrath to forward line.
who could the ?s be?
Doc... Shows promise needs to develop
Polkinghorne.... but playing well atm
Mayes... But he's a great running playe, classy and quick.
Rockliff... Identity crisis.
Raines... But a good tag?
Lester... But versatile, hard worker.
so... Puck 2of these... Or 1 if Brown suspended, or if Golby N/A.

Losing to a mid-range side at home is very disappointing. For where we are in our development we should be winning these games.

You are so funny.
So you are happy with your game last night?

OMG!!!!!!

Some real great signs out there tonight. Black and Moloney were terrific. It is a real shame about the Merrett and Clarke suspensions. If they were in the side tonight I think we would have looked so much better structurally and there is no way Carlton would have taken as many marks inside 50. The Leuenberger injury came at a really unfortunate time. There is no coincidence that when he went off, we could not win a clearance to save our selves. As soon as he went off I knew it was game over.

The thing that ultimately cost us the game IMO was the kicking in that 3rd quarter. Rockliff, Lester and Brown all missed very gettable shots on goal and it was very disappointing. You take away that goal from Amrfield inside the final minute of the 3rd quarter and add two goals from Rocky, Lester or Browny and we are in front heading into the last.

I thought Staker had a very good game today. The second quarter fight back when we kicked 6 goals in a row was very exciting to watch. We were in dnager of being blown out but the boys led by Moloney and Black fought back beautifully. That 6th goal from Redden was a beauty. Bewick played fantastic as well today.

Bring on the Pies next week.

GOOOOOOO LIIIOOOOONNNNNNNSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This isnt about Collingwood.

Yeah, it's about you not having the stones to put your real team under your name when you troll. You just outed yourself on the bay.

Grow a pair you frightened little squib.

No.
But I am suprised to see where Carlton and Brisbane are both at post the Fevola / Henderson trade. The gulf is widening.

They own you. I'm not surprised you are upset post Henderson. But I'm not your target. Surely crazy Voss is?

I love ryan lester and the way he goes about his footy BUT ...in the last couple of weeks he set shots on goal have been terrible, and very gettable ones.

Thanks for the advise.. Here's some in return..It's pretty simple...I don't agree with you!....No good talking about hypothetical situations..'the best players being out.'..It's meaningless typical mainstream dribble..fact is there were players out for both sides ..half our defense was out tonight.. We didn't win and once Golby went out it was Carlton by how far..

I absolutely agree, but also at our stage of development we can't cover the absence of players like Merrett, Golby, Rich and Leuenberger for the last quarter.

Add Leuenberger to that list of players that missed a very gettable set shot in the third term.

There are some unbelievably stupid posts in this thread..

The boys played well and just happened to be outclassed in the end. Considering many of us thought we'd be pumped by 10 goals 3 weeks ago it was a bloody good effort. We need a few more players to add a bit of consistency to their games but considering we had the likes of Doc, Mayes, Michael, Lisle and Yeo (who had all played 15 games or less before tonight) in our side along with a depletes defence, they did very well against a team who should be challenging for a position in the top 6.

Keep some perspective people, the team is showing far better signs than the start of the year and we should start to see us win more of these close games soon enough.
