Perhaps after round 1 it is abit early.
However I do tip Corey and James Kelly to have some smashing scores this year and I would expect Coreys average to beat Cross. So perhaps trading early might be a reasonable idea if you forsee keeping Corey in the long term.

i'll stick with corey as my captain...who's gonna stop him from essendon?

and for the dude that traded cross for corey...what a newbie numnuff!!!

Very clever move. If I had Daniel Cross I would trade to Joel Corey as well. Cross just doesnt seem up to it and Joel Corey scored 149 in round 1 how could you resist!

Great trade IMO

Cross just doesn't seem up to it??

And on what information are you basing this on??

Fool.

He is one of the most consistent 90+ DT performers in its history

Cox is the obvious choice with a high average against the Crows, however my money is on Cross to do the damage against the Dee's, those people jumping the gun on silly trades this week will miss out on 100+ this week from him.

I'm going to struggle to find a reason (bar injury) to go with anyone other than Cox all season... He'll never get tagged out of a game and will usually just run free racking up marks, kicks, hit-outs and goals...

Geelong at Home against Essendon i'll probably stick with Corey for another Round hope for around 125 without a tag at home against essendon, but if the Essendon taggers dont control the star midfield perhaps the other midfielders may control more of the ball taking away possesions.

Eagles away against Adelaide and although they dont have a ruck to compare I think Cox's other possessions might suffer abit if Adelaide get ontop, perhaps around 110 would be my guess

Pavlich is a little tempting at home against Hawthorn with an average around 102 and 92 last week after a fairly dismal game I can really see him out with something to prove and perhaps pulling in close to 120.

I'll wait till later in the week to make my decision between the 3.

Hayes tends to dominate against Carlton, has scored 138, 125, 138 and 89 last four times but that dates back a bit. Guess that is more of a risky option.

Lol, trading Cross to Corey would be one of the stupidest trades i've seen. I wouldn't be surprised if Cross averages the same as Corey. Probably won't but will be there abouts.

Cross had a shit game and he still got 83. Wait till he plays a good game..

The taggers will go to kerr first, leaving priddis open
Rutten will go straight to lynch
Glass will get the main forward
Selwood and braun will look to tag thompson out of the game

i beg to differ

he has just made my decision hell, i thought cox was obvious but now cross has so much more appeal

screw you happy_eagle

nah just kidding i love your work too :thumbsu:

Put it this way...its Cox vs Adelaide with no ruckmen. Cox will win 90% of the hit outs and wont get tagged. So he will gather alot of possi's like he usually does.

Cox is very consistant as is Cross but based on the fact its Cox vs Adelaide i recon its Cox captain for me this week.

If it was Cox vs another team then Cross would have been my pick.

I might change my decision but atm its Cox all the way.

Great work Happy Eagle. Although I have Hayes, Riewoldt, Cross, Johnson, Brown and Cox, thanks for nothing ;) :D Cox seems like a pretty safe bet but I'm thinking Riewoldt should have a night out against the Blues. Should show some club loyalty and go with the Roo.
