They should concentrate on developing local blokes before recruiting any more duds
Thanks for your quality advice Kilmore King. Matt Swindell's won the B & F and Scott had an outstanding season and won the Most Courageous. Don't think I would class them as duds. Lancefield have developed numerous young locals over the last few years, particularly after they suffered several 200 point plus thrashing 3 seasons ago. The Burkett brothers, Matt Bowden, Dan Rebecchi and James Falcone are several home grown products to name a few. I know you are just trying to get a bite and I have responded. I know many quality Kilmore people and I would love to see them successful once again. If you have any affiliation with Kilmore please stop embarrassing the club with your immature and uniformed comments.

Romsey just goes Bang Bang - Dawson stays and then they pick up Irwin one the best CHB in the competition. Things starting to hot up.
Has Dawson stayed? Last I heard he wasn't going to Riddell but wasn't necessarily allowed to stay at Romsey either.

Huge for Rupo if DJ actually plays. Makes them the 5th contender.

4th contender, reckon they'll sneak ahead of Diggers Rest

I notice Diggers let a few of the boys go but denied Cate's and Brian Bell, they must still have club jumpers?

Plenty in for the Blues too :thumbsu:

Don't count your chickens until the clearances are finalised.
At least eight players who did not play with the tigers last year were at training Monday night. Five of which have promised to play. Some good height about them six of the eight 6ft 2 or better. We also had a young ruck man training before Christmas, he wasn't there Monday night but hopefully he will be there tonight..

My man about town said there were 22-23 guys on the track with 5-6 heads he didn't recognise, a couple of "good size" so it looks like everyone is up and about which is great to see

I know you shouldn't get into a agreement with an idiot but.
For your info Kilmore Goose in lancefields seniors last game in 2013 they played 13 guys who came thru their under18 s. A further 4 ex u18's who payed thru the year missed the game through injury. There is probably more but I'm doing this from memory.
We have two ex u 18's train this year and r hopefully they will resign with the club.
One of our ex u18's has put in for a clearance.
I think 13 out of 22 is a very good percentage for a town of approx 1,200.

Coming back from craigieburn bunnings last night at roughly six thirty-ish, and heading past the maggies nest there would have been at least thirty five, maybe forty at there session. Looked the part too, lined up right down the boundary and on the fence stretching up, everyone in club colours. With those sorts of numbers in early feb, and in last nights heat too, may just be them to be the bolter from the back of the pack this year.

Get ADAM BOSWELL back in the side. Track him down, give him a carton of cans a week, fit him with a jumper and wath the four point weekends start rolling in... Hes the man thats tougher than chinese algebra!

Forget the rest ;)[/quote]
$9.00 for Rupo. Ill have $1000 on that. With pick ups like chambers, Jordan etc.. very confident the rupo boys.

It's very good for the competition, Romsey & indeed Dawson himself that he is staying put with the Redbacks, because it would be a damn shame for a guy with his talent to be running around all season in Riddell's two's !

I think Rupo are very good value at 9.00. They were the most impressive lancefield played at home last year.

Some good news over our way the local shire council has just passed that new lighting will be erected for the 2015 season at Harley Hammond Reserve. Which will be of game standard 100 lux....
The new gymnasium will be fully functional by the start of this year......
HAPPY DAYS

Agree with previuos post, the Burras will probably struggle only averaging 55-60 on the track each night.

Likely to see that 25 goal win against Rupo mid year completely reversed against them.

With or without Dan Jordan playing in our competition in 2014, Brent Tuckey will still be far & away "THE" best forward going around. The bloke is an absolute superstar, I'd "WALK" to Diggers Rest just to watch the man play !!! :thumbsu:
