As I said in earlier post preseason training before Christmas means nothing waste of time just ask Romsey and broadford! Maybe they can do a two for one deal Keston???

That maybe true, but you still should have coaches appointed by now. It's not a good position to be in..

As for your theory let me say the first part what I portrayed two years ago has come to fruition the truth of what took place the dislike was from a small group .....
As for Deano have had many conversations with Deano over the last two and a half years and in particular the last couple of weeks and consider him as he does me a friend as for Deano walking in with me going out is that far from the truth the question at the moment is more how we move forward with the fit suiting dean and his family, the footy club broadford
And as is my decision on what I do will firstly take in family work and health and what broadford require from me and if I can deliver that again ...
That's where it is at as for romsey I have no hatred towards the club or players and 98% of the people about the club in actual fact as a person would speak to any one at the club they are having some tuff times and hope they take the right path
Dean helmers made himself available and that is where it is at

It's only footy in the end merry Xmas all hope you all stay safe enjoy some time with family

Mostly tongue in cheek Keston just trying to get things going a bit.

Lets hope Deano does take on the presidency and Skip is afforded the right to finish what he started

And also .... don't be fooled, I'm not a good bloke. I do however 100% echo your sentiments "only a game" remembering we are merely the current torch holders in long proud histories so always think about how you'd want to be etched in your respective chapters.

Not sure the term legend should be thrown about this lightly, but here's a story from the RDFL website ...


The Broadford Football Netball Club (BFNC) officially announces the signing of multiple premiership coach and Riddell District Football League (RDFL) legend Dean HELMERS.

Helmers will co-coach Broadford’s senior side alongside incumbent coach Skip Bray in the 2016 season.

Broadford secretary Paul Dunbar recently expressed his excitement about Helmers' appointment.

"The BFNC are excited to have this talented, experienced and well respected football identity as part of the coaching staff for the year", Dunbar commented.

“We can’t express how valuable Dean’s knowledge will be, especially for the younger squad members”.

“The club has worked hard in the off season to continue developing our strong list and also support our local boys.”

“Dean is a major inclusion”.

Massive coup for broadford will finish top 3 imo.
Last years coach cleary laid the foundations and its good to see he will still be apart of it to watch it all come together this season.
Seems a lot of the rdfl clubs have some very hardworking people behind the scenes with some of the recruits coming into the league this season.

Still no news on romsey coaching app ?
There wouldnt be to many sides in vic who havnt app a coach before xmas, this imo is the worst case scenerio for a club coming off back to back flags.

Good to see Helmers coaching somewhere again.

I doubt many Romsey players will follow due to the points system. Broadford would be pretty close to their limit. Nothing stopping them flooding their reserves with good players though.

Well done to Andrew Bubb too. Big opportunity to rebuild.

The Burlak situation would be a good starting point since that is one of his most recent post he has gobbed off on have you ever heard the term Keston " those in glass houses shouldn't throw stones" so no respect no credibility.

Again, i'm an outsider too but it's kind of unusual for me as well.
I suppose it can add a bit extra to rivalries.

Is really rare for it to happen up home...my old man would have disowned me if I played against Lalbert. I understand blokes need a change etc but there are so many options
