And Keston, do you even drink anywhere near Broadford??? Stop making out you are an insider and you know everything when really you are a total outsider that just try's to destabilise every club you have ever gone near. Leopards do not change their spots and you are a classic example of this.

Webb reported from yesterday's game... Bout time he served his sentence.. If he concentrated on footy he's go ok, but he's nothing but a sniper who thinks he's tougher than he is.....

Didnt get to game but listened to it on highland radio.The fellas done a good job commentating and good for game to go down to the wire.
Cats would be very dissapointed to go in straight sets and would think Joffas times up?
Next weeks game will be huge and tribunal results may play a big part.Ian Findlay come on down.Where will game be played?
 
where is the game being played this week. could it be swan hill, Maryborough, upper combuktor west ,who knows with this league.maybe a home ground final to the team that wins the coin toss.Know the bikies are rolling in what next a umpire that is not bias.The weekend was a embarrassment to all from supporter abuse to some of the best tackles from both teams having free kicks given against them.Officials stereo typing teams before the game and then crucifying them from the start of the game. This league is a joke and from what I have heard will not be here in 3 years time. A GREAT LEAGUE GOING TO THE WALL CAUSE OF NO BALLS. WIN OR LOOSE IN THIS LEAGUE WILL MEAN NOTHING AND MEANS NO ACKNOWLEGMENT FOR PREVIOUS ACHIEVMENTS. So get your rocks off while you can because no one will remember THE PAST.

Schedule for finals games was announced about five weeks ago. Yes today was supposed to be at Macedon but the a very wet winter up there meant a change..
Next weeks game is at lancefield on Saturday as announced five weeks ago and the granny will be at Romsey on the Sunday after.
This bagging of the league is ridiculous.. the league has done the same thing for 10 or so years that I know of and schedule games a coupe of weeks out from the finals at the best grounds that apply, in accordances to the importance of the game..
So the league think romseys the best so they get granny, lancefield next best they get prelim and so one down the line...

Thanks for the info as I know which way to drive and good choices some times hard to find but would be nice to find neutral grounds. As for bagging the RDFL THE SPINLESS ATTITUDE TOWARDS CLUBS,SUPPORTERS AND WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THE LEAGUE IS A DISGRACE OF WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THE FUTURE. SO say what you like is this league doomed.

Rubbish - the league is thriving and in the best shape since Gissy and co left.

No gate and no one putting there hands up to help , more trouble than it's worth sometimes .
Although I do know when rockbank came to the rescue a couple of years ago they were not charged anything to run the days and it was a good money maker for the club

I think is a disgrace that our clubs have to PAY the league to host finals
Are they serious, these blokes that run the show
It's the CLUBS league.
It's the CLUBS grounds
It's the CLUBS facilities
If anything the league should pay the clubs to host a final
The clubs should also be allowed to get their supplies for the day from their own sponsor/ suppliers
And from what I hear the suppliers that the clubs are TOLD they must buy from on a finals day are not even RDFNL sponsors but Goldfields sponsors
Good on Riddell yesterday for telling the powers that be to stick it up their a$$ they are using their sponsors
Bout time clubs did this
Don't tell me this league is kicking goals with this type of dictatorship taking place

im no lawyer but isn't that basically third line forcing?? Company A telling B that they must buy through C in order to host a final....hmmm

Cracking game at Riddell yesterday which was a great showcase of local footy. Played at a frenetic pace and with great skill. Cooke a standout for the Cats with Markworth's individual heroics in the last quarter nearly getting them across the line. If you can get hold of the tape, have a look at his run and carry goal from the centre clearance coming into red time - breathtaking. Ruffell quiet for Riddell but Nolan and Said chipped in with 5 apiece. H Ross looked like he had his own footy at times.
Great job again by the Highlands FM team - BT was hovering in the crowd but ThaLedg plays him on a break.
Congrats to the teams already through to Grand Finals and good luck to all teams making the trek next week to Lancefield.

Agree, it was the final the league needed, super venue Riddell really when you get a good day for football, great atmosphere and really good place to watch footy. I did note the use of own product, is that right you have to use the league sponsors? Watched a half at Rockbank, won't discuss venue again, could not believe when got home that the result ended that way as to half time Broadford to me especially for a quarter and a half had the game in control just did not capitalise. Not sure if Broadford can back up, clearly the second best team but Riddell after overcoming two major disappointments in Rupo and Macedon won't be easy and could set up another Riddell Diggers GF.
