From what I can tell

Petroro- 4 points due to EDFL prem div.

Lobb- 4 points due to three transfers.

Farmer- 3 points...4 if he finished top 5 in his clubs b and f last year.

Petroro and Farmer don't have a point added on for too many transfers. It's three transfers not three clubs. This will only be their second transfer.

Anyone got a link to the transfers? For some reason I'm battling to locate clearances across all the Sportingpulse pages.

It's still pretty slow on the movements front to be honest, Farmer's clearance into the Kangaroos has happened, the Kangas have some really solid in's. Obviously a concern for the other Roos, plenty out and not much in currently and Wallan are certainly making moves, I see they had 3 squads for their intraclub, that's great going.

Shame to hear about Highlands FM not getting any volunteers to take over the call. Very likely that we won't have any radio for the RDFNL this year as I believe that OKR have pulled the pin also. Anyone know someone keen to get into media??

Who want's to have a crack at some predictions?

Any other hit outs? Who looks good.

Jess Davies, Alex Loizou, Chris Barton, Shaun Stewart, Andrew Saladino and Matty Thomas were some of our best IMO. Really liked Dowsett's role as a 2nd ruckman too and Rexhapi worked hard up front.

Was bloody hot.

How did Heath mckercher and Timmy Robertson go?

Robertson was good, while I'm not sure what number McKercher was wearing sorry.
Very handy pick ups! Robbo is crafty and will not let the ball out of f50 and mckercher is a premiership captain who is damaging across half back... wallan look to have recruited well

Hearing Broadford has picked up 4-5 Div 1 players - any truth to the rumour Skip ?

Let's hope so, but hopefully the 4-5 you speak of can bring partners who are handy netballers too as according to the club's Facebook unless more netballers can be sourced they may not be allowed to compete in 2017.

What is the ruling if a club can't field netball teams ??

As you know Skip we have Saturday KBNA comp, several midweek comps as well as the schools comp out this way which see's a lot of girls/ladies getting their netball fix without wanting to give up their Satdy arvo's which is fair enough.

I know from our junior club in Kilmore's angle the RDFL Board were far from supportive in regards to our netball situation last year, in fact the attitude at our info night from the RDFL President and netball representative was poor (if not disappointing) which in the end was a fairly significant factor in the club's parents voting to shift to the NFL.

Guess it depends whether or not the RDFL want to still receive upwards of $25k in league fee's or not, personally I reckon for that reason alone ($$$) they'll let Broadford compete in football and field whatever they can netball wise.

Would suggest it may be a big issue moving forward given clubs are fielding girls footy sides now

Had a chat on this very topic Satdy at a practice game.

Small communities have no hope of fielding netball and then female footy teams, so going forward placing certain stipulations on what clubs "must" field may very well end in tears
