Any results from praccy matches ?
Keillor beat Kangas by plenty, albeit gutsy to come up against the EDFL premiers not sure of the merits really, had some decent contributors but were outclassed and Phil Kaufman was an insult for Dean Galea, Mitch Farmer looked unfit n outta touch, Cuff good, Murphy good and 43 and 7 looked alright also.

Mitch Farmer played all last season without going near the training track so not surprised he was out of touch

Wallan won pretty comfortably and in the words of the coach tried a few things out. Kilmore had some really good patches, but it was one of those games where you knew what was going to happen.

I thought it was a pretty good match really, Wallan look to have improved and have some very nice players and Kilmore are very very young but your right AuckMel i thought they did have some good patches too. We all knew Wallan would win but i think it was good for the young blokes of Kilmore to play against some good quality opposition and with 3-4 really good players to come back in i think they will really improve in their league.

Cheers, I see silky Saladino didn't play many others missing?

Dowsett and King were a couple I know of and maybe 3 or 4 more.

Agreed.

Thought the ruckman was very good.

Went to watch the wallan vs kilmore game. Wallan not as impressive as the previous week , but have no idea who was out.
No2 in midfield dominated clearances , although kilmore ruckman always got first hand on the footy (just didn't tap it anywhere , but something to work with).
Couple of young boys for kilmore across halfback were pretty exciting with footy in their hands. Marret a work horse on field.
Fwd line looked too slow & none of them really won their position.(led to wrong spots , played behind a lot.) 25 is a backman in my eyes. Kilmore's leadership need to really direct/push the young fellas out on the ground throughout the game as lots of tackles missed & a fair bit of half assed chasing into defence.
Wallan seemed to have ability to score whenever ball went inside 50, some good options up there. Backline although not beaten on the day , is a bit shaky.
Kilmore coach spoke well & had a plan , which at times boys just didn't carry out.
Not a bad hitout for both , although areas to improve on for both sides leading into rd1.

Jess Davies. Over from Craigieburn. Excellent pick up. Ruckman is Aaron Kite's brother.

Fair comments. When they moved the ball, they looked really sharp.

Turned it over far too much. Coxy back should fix that and would like to see them settle with one bloke kicking in.

Is Murphy the same one who won the Bowen a few seasons ago?

Seen him play a few games last year and really struggled ( can tell he is not training) . Where is his mate Brewer playing this year ????
