IMS a bit quite out there from Rooland, surely you would have been happy with Saturday, Ploog best marking game i have seen from him and Yarwood set you alight in the second quarter, Dummy and Minson were quite.it will be interesting to see if Darko plays again (A bit sore, first run in a long time) and the smalls for Woodend played well on the weekend (Kept them in the game) should be a good game at Macedon. The three best sides left in the competition. Still an open final series though. Must congratulate the Roos Twos one of the best games i ve seen a twos side play lots of run, going for back to back. Has that Handicott played seniors before and would he be a chance this week he dominated on the weekend.
A bit over the top indeed. Definitely friendly banter and certainly wasn't abusive. Surely you able to crack a few jokes at the oppositions expense and support your won footy club at the same time (which is what he was doing)-that's what country footy is all about! I wasn't too far from where that Ginger head c...(very harsh) was standing and there was nothing in it at all! Players who play this great game of ours can put up with a bit of banter cant they? Sorry Roy but your taking it all a tad too serious!
Any B&F's done yet other than Diggers, You would think Bonnicci (Kangas), Belville (Riddell) would be a shoe in. Kilmore will be interesting Cornish or Pickles love child Robbo, Romsey ??, Woodend ?? could be interesting, any results in all grades something else to look at or talk about before the end of the year. Do clubs do B&F before the final series or do they incorporate the finals as well ??
I was there from the end of the U18s onwards. Thought Riddell's reserves were exceptional against a pretty good side, especially against the wind and they should give Woodend-Hekset a run for their money. Although if the Hawks can reproduce their home and away season form ... look out.
Conway Tigers’ best
LANCEFIELD ruckman Phil Conway capped off a stellar 2007 by winning the Tigers’ best and fairest on Saturday night. A lanky and workman-like performer at the stoppages, Conway was well worthy of the honour.
In 2004 he carried much of the burden in the ruck in the Tigers’ premiership win against Riddell, and is perhaps the most knocked about player in the Riddell District Football League.
Polling 53 votes ahead of captain Simon Choate on 41, Conway was a runaway winner of the Jim Dwyer Memorial Trophy.
Rounding out the placegetters was playing coach Chris Collins with 34 votes and Scott Smithwick with 32.
Conway’s feat is even more amazing considering he had polled just 11 votes in the first half of the season.
Making a late charge, he polled 42 votes in the last nine rounds to blitz his teammates for the title.
In the reserves, Matt Crozier won the best and fairest with 35 votes from veteran Wayne Kraus with 24.
Luke Malone withstood a late bid from Chris Burkett to poll 54 votes and win the Under 18s best and fairest.
Winner of the A-grade netball title was Anna Soldatic with 16 votes. Anna also won the league best and fairest award, the Ryan Medal, just six days earlier.
Nicole Sheehan was an easy winner of the B-grade best and fairest with 26 votes.

It was Daryl Brinkhuis and he won the Scarborough Medal in 2005. I don't think there is any need to discuss it further on here though. He is remorseful for his actions and copped his medicine.

if the Diggers Rest player's nose was broken from that incident, the Riddell player got off lightly.
Itsmyshow and Halffullonfence will be doing a duet, with Blues12, Woody07 and Big Momma on backup vocals.
A boxing ring will be set up to see Mongrel and discoduck go toe-to-toe.

surely each of the individuals would have to be drug tested... would the body building contest have a Q and A type section...
GEE TO see IMS on the vocals would be worth the admission price alone.. wonder what he will be belting out....
i just hope he doesnt let his fans down or the fact that his teams will be playing in the 2nds and 1sts g/finals distract him from a memorable performace
