your a comedian as well! Interesting reply from a 'Moderator"! Why don't you just try and answer my question?

Glad to provide you with a laugh, there may be hope for your cerebrum yet !
Why did you have to go & get personal though Pal ?
You are starting to sound a lot like someone else on here, but with another name ?
And please your not sugesting that because of my title I am not aloud to have an opinion are you ?

And please got back through my posts on this subject I think we ARE in agreement, I wanna see the BEST too. Question Answered ?..... AGAIN !

Why would the RDFL want to host a game at Sunbury or Gisborne ? Since Gisborne Seniors are not in this comp. And Sunbury Kangaroos ground is not in the best condition??
Football tragic. Not to sure why tbr stated the gisborne ground but Im not to sure what you mean by the sunbury ground not being in good condition. Since it has been resurfaced it would have to be one of the better grounds in the league and given some more time to grow next year will deffianately be hard to pass up for these sorts of events due to location. I have heard rumours as to why the sunbury ground doesnt get picked and none of them are due to condition, so im sure in the near future when these problems are rectified you will see the Kangas home ground as a showpiece for the highest quality football albeit finals/interleague ect.

I didn't mean to get personal - I just can't understand the reason why you seem to have it in for a coach when nobody seems to know what the criteria is, who/whom does the selection.
I can assure you I have only been on this site for a few weeks!

Of course you are entitled to an opinion, I just don't think attacking and belittling people comes under that leadership role you have on this site.

I'm glad to see you want the best. I love to research things and I might have a look at this netball team and see how good the players are. You said earlier that it wasn't the best team - so who should be in it?

i have noticed at some games there haven't been field or boundary umpires so l assume the league is short of umpires.

If Broadford came in with u18's that's an extra 18 umpires the league need to cover them.
6 Field 6 Boundary 6 Goal for 3 games, Seniors, Reserves, 18's.

Hope the RDFL think of this and are out there recruting or there will be more games not covered if this season is any guide.
maybe semmo will have to double up

I ask this question !!! Why is it when any thing happens in this comp good or bad every one sits on here and pots it?? It very easy to sit on here and take pot shots at the ideas from RDFL house.

I'm all for the game this weekend, but I was suggesting another concept thats all....

Our league/area that can 'not' compete with facilities such as the other leagues more finer venues.....

Gisborne has the covering, and capacity to hold large amounts of people, and protect them from weather conditions, as does the Lions ground and Kangaroos to some extent. No ground in this comp has a sufficient grandstand or covered area to be able to hold 1000 or more poeple unbdercover.

It's just not about the playing surface, its about the facilities as well.... Bigger picture!

Seeing as I'm a registered Romsey player, and that their girls are disgruntled about no Redbacks getting a call up for the All-Star netball match, I've decided to put my hand up to represent Romsey in the East Team. Not stopping there, and seeing as the All-Star footy match is on after the very exciting netball clash, I thought I'd pull on the boots one last time for the old East.

Fantastic training session held tonight at Diggers Rest for the under 16 RDFL Academy Jarryd Allen v Matt White squad Game to be held this Saturday. Very well attended & enthusiastic group went through their paces under the watchful eyes of their respective coaches & very proud League Officials; A special thanks to Matt White who spoke to the boys & presented them with their Jumpers after the run. A Further mention must also be made of the non RDFL Senior Clubs & Players for their Excellent response torwards this Showcase Event.
Augurs well for a great curtain raiser to the big one !
Game starts at 11am Saturday.................................. BE THERE !

with not all sides playing each other twice,i would 've thought that the extra week would have been a chance to fit in an extra game on the draw.
in saying this i still reckon the east/west game has its place as a show case of the leagues better players, but i would still like to see all teams play each other twice prior to finals time .

i don't have a solution but would hate to think some sides will make the finals or miss out ,based on not playing a weaker side or stronger side twice during the regular season.possibly starting the season a week earlier or finishing a week later or playing queens birthday weekend may be the solution:confused:

[QUOTE]a little birdie tells that this may not be the case in 2010 as a certain club maybe returning to rdfl as finding players and supporters are not willing to travel to bendigo, finding it difficult to hold onto sponsers so are finding it difficult to raise the big bucks to pay players

If this was true it would be a great bargaining tool to get other clubs to join/rejoin. I know for a fact that before bachus won a few games lately they were seriously looking at leaving bfl and heading to another league(not rdfl) although if the right oppourtunity came along it would be hard to refuse.
