At least 5 players were out of position last week, that shouldn't have happened. Go for it and try and win, that's what it's all about, not trying to lose, you should know that.

Hopefully this week Pedo will set team up to win, unlinke last week when he set team up to try and not to lose which obviously didn't work. You have the best team Pedo position them to win, they have to beat you, not you try and beat them, think positive, and let the team do what they have done all year, in their best positions!!!! The boys will do it, if you just give them the opportunity, don't be so negative. You win a game of footy by being the most positive and attacking, please remember that. You've done it all year for god's sake!

That may not be an easy task ! All the pressure will be on the Redbacks in a clash they will be expected to win. Going OUT in staight sets is a nightmare no side wants to be lumbered with. On the other hand Macedon have nothing to lose & everything to gain, so just can go out & attack & go for broke ! :thumbsu::footy:

Exactly and that's what the Redback's should have done last week, but, didn't because of the positons in the team. Redbacks are the best team of the year and the coach should try and prove that and not be so negative, now the team, because of the coach is in a serious position, but, if they are good enough they will still win.

Lets hope it's a fair contest and no one from Macedon takes out anyone from Romsey, unlike last encouter!!!
Romsey can do it they are a very talented team with a great coach, they just need to be positive and they will get there, Go Redbacks!!!

Unhappy romsey player for sure:mad::mad:

Tips for this weeks Finals.

Riddell to be to stong for Sunbury by 26 pts.
Romsey to just hold on in a close one against Macedon by 9 pts.

Good luck all. :thumbsu: :footy:

To UNRealist, I am the v-pres of Romsey Football Netball Club, as everyone is well aware of.. I am here to tell you, and everyone else in the football world, that the jockey that has ridden Black Caviar this year, will coach next year and as many years as he wants, at this club. He has bought discipline, respect, crowds, great people, football knowledge and a wealth of super coaches who work with him. People keep commenting on what a fantastic job our committee has done this year with our football and netball, Well I am here to tell you, that the great PEDO is in the same mold as Bomber Thompson with a handshake deal with myself, who employed him and that handshake was for two years. I believe in the man, I respect him and he loves the whole club especially the future kids coming through. So lastly if Pedo wasn't around, our club it would be a lesser place....So I can guarantee here and now that Black Caviar's jockey will be riding that great horse again in 2012........You better hope that it is not the person behind this alias UNRealist, that I think it is and spoken to me by phone in the last three days. I would be very disappointed.......cccccooooonnnllliiinnnkkkoooo you beauty

Connalinko I see all the things that PEDO has brought to the club and thats great.......... but we just wanted to see Ben Cousins:D

Congratulations to Deano and the Sunbury Kangaroos on qualifying for the clubs first ever Grand Final appearance with today's 28 point win over Riddell. The Kangas had a great day with the Reserves defeating Macedon to also move straight into the GF.

Great win by Subury Kangaroos today, and well and truely deserve their place in the grand final.

With the exception of the first quarter they were excellent against Riddell today.

Not sure who they will play on Sunday week, but you can bet your life they will be giving their all to win their first flag.

Go Roos !

Little word with a HUGE meaning, I think your post maybe 24 hours premature......... Maybe ???
Anyway good luck tomorrow. :thumbsu: :footy:

No. 7 for macedon gave a great team talk at 3qtr time to the players, not 1 word from Flea. What coach doesnt address their team at the last change of what could be the last game of the year?. Very strange, and as it happened Romsey smashed them in the last qtr. Go Figure:confused:

yes and macedon won the toss, turned out to be a good toss to lose!!

Very hard fought game at Romsey today with the 4-5 goal wind. Both teams went into half time at 5.3 each.

The game was won by Romsey in the 3rd quarter, when they kicked 2 against the strong wind and kept Macedon goalless.

Grubby was magnificent in the 3rd, as was the whole back line. Brewer, Dawson, Austin and Blakey Hendo were brilliant all day, as were the evergreen Benny Talbot and Bulldog Strack.

Can't wait for next weekends clash against Riddell.

My tip : Romsey up by 3 goals

Great win by Redbacks today. They proved today, you just have to keep working hard at the little things and play as a team, and you get rewarded. Just a shame that the broadcast on the radio was so hoping that Macedon would win ( not so much 2 of them, but, certainly the older guy which spoilt the broadcast and I had to turn it off). In the end the wind had nothing to do with the win, it was the Redbacks desperation to win that was the deciding factor. Well done Redbacks, a great win!

PROBABLY out of your control but what happened today in the netball/umpires change rooms was absolutley farciacal...umpires trying to get readyfor games and members of public just coming in using the rooms/toilets..i know we are only umpires but we do need our own space..seemed every 2nd person came into toilets and wanted to take a dump..the paint on the walls was starting to peel after a few of them...one bloke came in amongst the umpires gear and changed his kids crappy nappy...people standing outside the door smoking...not an ideal preparation for those umpires waiting to go out to fight for their g/f spot on the up side ground excellent except where the goal umpire stand dirt shiffting underfoot made life a little difficult....catering excellent and reasonably priced
