Galea has finally got his body right
Watching him last year had 3-4 defenders on him at times
Delivery wasn’t great
He didn’t start pre season til March
If he has a full pre season this year
-3-4 defenders on him is not true at all Sloopy. Totally false.
-Delivery wasn’t great, but will it be better in Riddell league?
-It’s great to hear Galea still wants to play and why shouldn’t he cash in while he still can. Absolute legend of local footy. But last few years he just hasn’t seemed his best and appeared to be carrying an injury as his movement is limited. Could be age, I don’t know. Still think his worth recruiting in this league but he might have underestimated edfl div1 defenders. In EDFL div1 it’s more the bigger forwards that harder to man up against. Cloke, Covelli, etc.

Anyway what a player his been over many years! Absolute gun and in his prime always a difficult match up in edfl premier.

Edwards, Duhau and Landt v Hetherington, Cannolo and Knight is a no contest. Rupo would’ve eaten them.

Defenders at Rupo = better.
Coach = better
Forwards probably even but if you take into account Makysmow might have had to take off at any stage to run from the cops then… Rupo wins there too. Keep in mind, Brennan in the 2019 straight out eliminated Sunbury team you’re talking up was a former rupo player who left when he started to struggle up forward and was Lions leading goalkicker in that final.

Add to that Putt was far too big in the ruck and played great and Sunbury didn’t have the ruck stocks to compete with Putt.
Oh chambo your years down at rupo has certainly sucked you into the “we’re better than the world” mentality that is the rupo way.
Brennan left to play a higher grade (which most get slandered by rupo when they do so) and was openly criticised in the media by fitzy which was an opinion you’ve clearly adopted. Maybe check st Albans bnf results when he went there to see if “he struggled”.
Rupo would have challenged Sunbury for about 2.5 qtrs and that’s about it. Rupo paid overs for washed up big guys that ran for the money as soon as they could. Laughable your opinion on this

May have some off field issues to worry about next season

Joins one day, complains the next.

Over paid big Guys were Washed up… yet won a flag by a mile 🤣🤣 BUT….
Sunbury signed Makysmow? and eliminated first final?
“Your opinion is as laughable as it gets.”

Sunbury. Simon Clarke was unstoppable and confident that finals series and marking everything. Would’ve been a big difference maker. Both good midfield depth, Sunbury would’ve had experience and a bit of size across the board.

That Lions side played a premier EDFL Strathmore side in a practice match that brought an almost full strength side that was including some recent AFL players and Sunbury won comfortably. Was a very good side.
