Manuel has been heavily tagged most games the past 2 years as the main focus of some very high class midfields.
There are some premier defenders coming Galea’s way this year, it won’t all be smooth sailing, especially with him knocking on the door of 40. I’ve no doubt he will still be handy, but he won’t be a full season of domination.

Delivery wasn’t great
He didn’t start pre season til March

Bendigo is overrated, like any league, they have some talented players. I played in a side against a dominant Gisborne team that cruised to a Bendigo flag, they talked up how good they were, how strong the league was, they were going to win easy, and we completely destroyed them.

Hahaha, good sample size you are looking at. He’s been around a while longer than 1 game against Patton. Been a superstar for the best part of a decade. But you’d know best I guess.

I’ll back my judgement off what I have seen and the perspective I see it from.

If I was looking for a key defender I’d be calling him
